Indianapolis Colts safety Bob Sanders will miss Sunday night's game in San Diego because of his ailing right knee. The NFL defensive player of the year last season missed last week's game because of swelling in the knee and was listed as questionable earlier this week. The Colts said Saturday night he did not make the trip to San Diego.

The New York Giants' star receiver was limited at practice Friday because of an injury to his right hamstring and he will be a game-time decision on Sunday when the Super Bowl champions play the Arizona Cardinals.

The Tennessee Titans bolstered their injury-depleted secondary on Saturday, signing veteran cornerback Tyrone Poole and promoting Tuff Harris from their practice squad a day before hosting Brett Favre and the New York Jets.
