Oklahoma City played for the eighth time on consecutive nights with Tuesday night's thrilling 119-116 victory at Golden State.
"It was a great game," Thunder coach Scott Brooks said. "It was a great game for the fans. It was not the way we anticipated it going into the game, but sometimes you have to win in different ways, and our guys never gave up."
That tenacity has served Oklahoma City well in back-to-backs. The Thunder's record on such occasions is 6-2, with one of the games falling on the last of three games in three days. (Oklahoma City is 6-1 on the first night.)
Facing the Warriors one night after a playoff-like overtime win at Portland is just part of the deal, Brooks said.
"That's the NBA," he said.
