But the good feelings could be lowered considerably at the trip's outset. The Nets start their trip in Los Angeles against the Lakers. All-time, they are 8-26 on the road against the Lakers. Reality could set in quickly. The Nets, though, beat the Lakers in L.A. last year to end their trip at 3-1, their first winning Thanksgiving journey since 1997. The Lakers, of course, have been rampaging through the league, losing only to the Pistons in their first 11 games.
