Paul Pierce had 15 points in the Celtics' 94-84 victory over Charlotte on Tuesday. That gives him 21,797 for his career, passing Larry Bird by six for second on the franchise's all-time scoring list.
He passed Bird with a 3-pointer early in the third quarter. The crowd, knowing what was at stake, immediately rose and gave him a prolonged standing ovation.
There was another loud reaction when the accomplishment was announced during a timeout a few minutes later.
"It means I've been in a Celtic uniform for a long time," said Pierce, who hit the mark in 985 regular-season games while Bird got his in 897 games. I am looking for split my 43 games for the 2012 / 2103 season
I could split with 3 people
My seats are in Balcony 316, Row 5, seats 13 and 14 (end seats)
The are located at center court facing the benches
The cost per ticket is $65, so the cost for a half season would be near $2,800
Games would be split evenly with each person getting a heat, bulls, knicks (eastern dvision).
Also split these between weekend and weekdays so each person gets the same number of weekend games
Since there is only one game per team played at TD Garden in the west, each of us would select a team until all the games were selected
