A newly redone, fully furnished, 3BR apartment in historic and convenient Mount Pleasant, available for up to 5 nights (Friday, January 16 through Wednesday, January 21) over Inauguration weekend. We are offering our place up for $3,000 a night, but are willing to negotiate depending on the size of the party and the length of the stay.

This historic 1904 bay-front townhouse is part of an elegant grouping of interconnecting pillared porches known as “Palladian Row.” This is the longest row of such porches extant in Washington. The apartment comprises the top two floors of the home. There are 3 bedrooms, with two double beds and a queen bed, respectively. There are 2 full bathrooms and a stunning, brand new kitchen, with exposed brick, granite counter tops and full cooking utensils. The unit features a comfy living room with satellite tv, working fireplace and wireless internet. The unit has a washer and dryer. There is also central heat and air (can't imagine you will need a/c in January) and a small, outdoor, third floor deck on the back of the unit as well as access to a decently sized DC back yard.

The house is 2 miles from the White House and 3 miles from the Capitol. It is a 10 minute walk to Columbia Heights metro (Green and Yellow metro lines) and a 20 minute walk to Woodley Park metro (Red line). Both of these metro lines put you on the mall or downtown within minutes. The area is also well served by bus routes and taxi cabs.

While the apartment features three beds, there is room for a number of people to sleep on the floor. We are willing to negotiate this, within reason.

A deposit will be necessary to secure the apartment, a security deposit will be included along with payment in full, before arrival. While we are offering up our apartment, we will be in DC throughout the weekend should any concerns or needs arise.
