Well, he ended up convincing me to buy it from him. I paid 200 bucks for it. Did friend rip me off or hook me up?? Are these phones any good? htc shift (7"), htc advantage x7501 (5") or the new htc advantage x7510 (5") they r huge (compared to iphone's 3.5") but dont fit comfortably in ur pocket and use windows mobile OS which you might not enjoy. but they r gr8 4 texting as they come with a megentically attachable/detachable keyboard. you might like the new htc touch diamond, out soon (2.8" touchscreen, thinner than the iphone + with more functionality eg: better camera, gps, a multi-touch-like versoin of windows OS, auto-rotate like iphone, much better bluetooth, but no memory card slot and internal mem is 4gb, altho its screen isnt as colorful as the iphone's it has a far greater resolution than most other phones including the iphones)
dont get a blackberry just yet cos they anounced a new model: bold 9000 which is their best so far.
Sony ericsson Xperia shud come out soon as well with a 3" touchscreen and is SE's best business phone so far.
if you dont like business phones:
nokia n95 8gb or the new n96 hv a 2.8" screen which in opinioin is big enuf and you get every feature you cud ask 4 (besides touchscreen)
at 2.6" touchscreen you cud get a Sony ericsson w960 if you like music and want 8gb internal mem.
if you want a good camera phone:

All you have to do is download the newest version of iTunes onto ur computer. If you have an iTunes account already, just update the software. If you don't have one, then download iTunes and create an account. It will ask you for a credit card number (don't be worried.... that number is for downloading songs.... if you download a song, the card number you entered will be charged for that song)-- if you just importing songs from your cd's into itunes, then you wont be charged for anything. Just plug in your iphone and the activation process will start. It will ask you if you are a new or existing at&t customer... If you are existing, just type in ur phone number. If you are a new customer, it will assign a phone number to you. It will ask you what data package you want to go with ($20,$30,$40). They all include unlimited internet, the only difference is the number of text messages included. It only takes a few minutes once you plug ur iphone in. It's a very simple process.
