Answer: If you don't plan to use the phone for it's true ...
If you don't plan to use the phone for it's true purpose(business connectivity, emailing, internet) then there is no point in getting it. You need to pay an extra 20 or 30 a month to use any of the above mentioned uses. My sister has a blackberry, and she uses it as just a phone for calling and texting, she has no idea how to use any other features. There are much simpler and nicer designed phones you can get.

both are over 200 but the pearl is much better and when you buy a blackberry you have to get a data pack called a blackberry package for 30 a month it includes unlimited text and internet use where if you get the sidekick you have to get the sidekick add on and its like 30 as well but the BB is much better phone sidekicks break alot oh and if just so you know you have to get these packs for the phones correctly ok well I looked at his link below me and it backs me up and not him the sidekick add on is 29.99 or 30 dollars and the blackberry pack is wrong because I sell tmobile everyday and right now they have the BB pack going for 30 dollars and you really cant trust the website because I also sell sprint and there website say that the BB pack is 39.99 and its not so you cant trust em you should just go to your local store they will give you all the figures you need

ACTUALLY to add on the blackberry or sidekick plan it is only $20.00 a month, NOT 30. With the blackberry plan you get unlimited text, email, and internet. Same with the sidekick which I currently have. unlimited text, email, internet, and also instant messanger. Also, sidekicks do not break esaily, I have had mine since October 2007 is it still in great condition. p.s check it out for yourself http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/plans/Default.aspx?plancategory=7

I am switching to at&t or verizon, and I was looking at the blackberry, but I can't figure out which one would be best. I was looking at the Blackberry Pearl but I really want the qwerty keyboard. Is it hard texting on the Blackberry Pearl? Oh, and if anyone has any information of the new LG vu please let me know. Thanks!!

First off, I'd say go for Verizon. AT&T seems to have too many problems with either their phone or dropped calls and whatnot. Second, it's not difficult to text on the Blackberry Pearl. The QWERTY keyboard on the Curve (I have one) is really nice and super easy to text. Again though, it's not difficult on the Pearl. To be honest though I don't really suggest the Pearl. I've had 3 of them and each one came along with all sorts of problems. I'd definitely say go for the Curve.

Answer: I have had the blackberry pearl since the week it came out. ...
I have had the blackberry pearl since the week it came out. It is an amazing phone. It isn't hard to text at all! It just takes a little getting used to. It has the QWERTY keyboard, the letters just don't each have their own button. I absolutely love it, and have had no problems. My only warning is that at first, if you have never had a blackberry before, is that everything is a little different from a regular phone. It is very easy to learn, and the tutorials that come on the CD with the phone are amazing. I have mine through AT&T and love it to death. Another tip.. make SURE you buy the unlimited internet plan though... it is addicting, and if you have a limited usage one, you WILL run over. It is well worth it though. The GPS map feature is awesome, and I lovee having email right there.

Don't get the Blackberry Pearl. I've had 3 of those, all sucked. For some reason they all conked out on me. So I bought the Curve and it's much better. But between the chocolate and env2, I'd say go for the env2!

they just came out with the samsung glyde also. but if you get the blackberry you have to pay $30 more a month for the required data package. i say EnV 2 from what you mentioned. the lg chocolate is older. you wont want it in 2 yrs. the EnV 2 is new. not a lot of people will have it yet.

Answer: the lg chocolate breaks easily friend has it and it ...
the lg chocolate breaks easily friend has it and it didn't last at all. I would recommend the blackberry pearl sister has it and she loves it her friend even got it. its really easy to text and pretty small for a smart phone not that bulky at all. except if your not used to txtng with the qwerty keyboard it might take some time getting the hang of it. and the enV2 I don't know much about it so I cant comment on that one. but good luck with the phone that you end up choosing. =)

Question: Which phone is better? lg scoop vs. blackberry pearl?
I am looking for a new phone on the alltel network. I was looking at the blackberry pearl in pink and the lg scoop in turquoise but I don't know which is better. So please tell me what you think of both, what you would do, and what you think I should do.

Answer: The Lg scoop, get that. I had a pearl for a day and hated ...
The Lg scoop, get that. I had a pearl for a day and hated it. Blackberry's aren't what you think they are. Sure lots of kids have them, but they are a business phone. They do nothing exciting, they just are an ok phone in quality, but great in messaging. I have had like 5 or 6 Blackberrys I would know. My aunt sells the lg scoop for sprint, but its the same thing as the rumor. She says they are a good phone and great for the texting audience. I mean the Blackberry I must say is cuter, I just hated the keyboard. If your getting a messaging phone get the scoop or a full keyboard blackberry.
