The ic502 is the first Sprint/Nextel hybrid phone; it uses Sprint's CDMA network for voice calling and data, but Nextel's iDen network for walkie-talkie functions. The problem for existing Nextel users is that making the switch will require sharp adjustments because the phone mostly acts like a Sprint phone, not like a Nextel device.
