The 3 liter 5 cylinder engine is well known for being reliable and economical . Now with the turbo they also had plenty of power . Mercedes only made 8007 of the diesel coupes and a lot less of the turbo version . The car will be sold lien sale. The exterior of the Mercedes is in 90% while the interior is blue and is in 75%. This car runs great. It has the 2.4L Diesel engine MANUEL 4 SPEED which is almost indestructable. These cars will run forever if you take care of them. These are good running cars that get very good gas mileage. The 240d is in Ok conditions. It does have some wear and tear on the body. It is 30 years old but the enigne is "SOLID" very strong. This is an excellent condition 5sp manual transmission 1999 Porsche Boxster with black exterior black interior and black top. Absolutely no problems runs great clean title never in an accident everything works fine. I purchased it from Beshoff Motorcars a Mercedes Benz dealership in San Jose in 2004 and it only had 51k miles then. It now has 56k miles so in the past 8 years I've only driven it 5k miles. I spent most of the time staring at it in my garage :)
Reason for selling is I don't drive it enough and it is being stored in my rental house that is up for rent right now.

2012 registration just paid.
I use Mobil synthetic oil and factory oil filter.
Rear tires probably have less than 500 miles on them 255/40WR-17 Sumitomo HTR Z II

Hey I'm looking for a Mercedes-Benz diesel sedan either a 240D or a 300D turbo or non-turbo. 300CD coupes also OK but are usually out of my price range.Wanting a good daily driver not interested in a project car nor a collector's piece. My only real necessities are a solid engine solid automatic transmission and decent to good brakes. Should have a clean title too. Something you'd feel safe in driving around town and over the bridge every now and then. Anything else is negligible:

bad paint = no problem
poor tires = no problem
rough interior = ok
bad window/sunroof motors = ok
non-working A/C = ok

Currently I'm in Oakland. Access to any city served by BART or Caltrain is fine. I can't really make it to the North Bay/Marin or out past Pittsburg.

An older 220D would also be fine so long as it's in good driveable condition. Obviously with these cars mileage isn't an issue. $1600 is what I'd like to start at I can go up a little and down a little. If you have something that matches this description and price range I'd love to hear from you. I know this seems like a lot of needs but I'm a serious buyer with cash.

i have 2 cars that i need to sell asap.......mitsubishi (dark grey 4dr) has a bad tranny and 240 XXX but does run well other than that....and my mercedes 190E (light green tan leather interior 4 dr) isnt the best but has been really good and reliable....today when i started it up the engine was making loud clicking noises..i think that the belts need to be tightened.i just dont have the money to fix either car.... the odometer stopped working a few months ago at 151 XXX so there is probably more like 160 XXX....

I am posting a rare European market 1983 Mercedes-Benz 300D non-turbo diesel. It runs strong and feels very fast for a non-turbo 300d has cosmetic blemishes (fading paint door dings falling roof lining etc) but no rust and no leaks.

Detailed pics can be found in my dropbox gallery.

Things that are unique to European version:

• Only way to get 300d with factory manual transmission.
• Non-turbo 300d was discontinued in US in 1981.
• More attractive bumpers.
• Fabric interior.
• Aluminum hood and trunk and (I think) doors makes the car lighter.
• I swear the steering rack (ratio) feels tighter than my US market diesel.

• Fog lights
• Aftermarket CD
• Good tires

If you want a 300D with a manual transmission as a daily driver or to restore this is a good example it just needs a little TLC. Price is $2100 OBO.

I'm the third owner of this vehicle but I can't justify having a second car right now since work has slowed down drastically the last few months.
Since I bought it I've changed out the original headlights which had a cracked fog lamp for euro style lights replaced the rear tail lights and added clear corners to the front turn signals. I've also switched out the stock MB steering wheel for a Momo wheel. If any of this causes you to gasp in shock and dismay worry not. I have all the original parts and they're part of the sale with the vehicle. In addition the previous owner had the SLS system disabled and disconnected although it is still in place in the vehicle. Instead the car rides on Bilstein shocks and custom cut springs - I found the springs in the rear to be a little too low especially with passengers so I had a set of spring spacers installed. Totally removable if you feel like it.

Being as this car is 25 years old there are a few scratches in the paint but you can count them on one hand. The seat upholstery in the rear has 2 minor splits in it and the dashboard is cracked from sun exposure. The AC could use a check and recharge and the stopwatch and dashboard clock no longer function. The car has an 80s aftermarket alarm which is disabled and an 80s aftermarket Panasonic CD changer in the trunk which works. Makes you feel like a true 80s executive rolling through town.

I don't expect anyone to be interested in this car unless they know the history of the Cosworth engine it has which is in great shape. Car runs flawlessly - new battery just installed.

I'm asking $8 000 or better offer and I'm open to negotiation. That said I'm in no huge hurry to sell. Car will be smogged prior to sale.

This is the diesel version of the Merceded E350. I used this car to commute back and forth from Pleasanton but luckily I now have a job just a BART trip away. This car is fully loaded never been in an accident and gets amazing gas mileage - around town I get 33-35MPG and on long trips such as on they way back from Tahoe nearly 41MPG. This car is great - no issues just no longer need a commuter car and we upgraded to the diesel SUV.

Bought this for my 2002 SLK230 from Mercedes-Benz of San Francisco on 7/29/11 but I sold my car and never opened it.

Still in original packaging. Don't buy these types of belts online you will get the wrong size. I learned from my mistake. Always buy v-belt and serpentine belts from the dealer.

Asking $70 for both. Still have my receipt but over 30 days so I can't return it.

hi i have a white bmw 318 is automatic with a 4 cylinder motor. it has nice tan leather interior and a sun roof. it is a two door. with the back windows tinted.

The good- it runs great fast alpine sterio with i think bose speakers. very clean. clean title good on gas.

THE BAD- it will eventually need front springs. it has a ding in the drivers side fender and door. the door can be fixed i would probly replace the fender. the door opens and shuts just fine. all the windows work. overall pretty cheap fixes for a great ride.

i am looking for 1900 obo or trade for a nice stick shift of equal value Thank you

Nice straight 1991 Mercedes Benz 500 SEL Series sedan. Very strong 5.6L engine. 210K original miles all freeway mileage. It runs and drives VERY WELL smoothly as a Mercedes should always run. No noises knocks or engine rattles. It runs an normal operating temperature ( right in the middle of the gauge) and maintains full oil pressure. A very strong running powertrain overall.
The automatic transmission shifts EXCELLENT into all gears without lag and with no slippage or hesitation.

The body is remarkably straight with absolutely NO RUST dents or accidents. Nice original Gemini-gray factory finish is clean throughout. Interior is very clean with no rips or tears on the factory dark-brown LEATHER upholstery. Factory aluminium alloy wheels.

CLEAR California title currently registered thru 2012 and SMOG CERTIFIED. It is being listed here at a reasonable $2950 FIRM
