This is a very badass classic car that i came across but don't have the cash to restore. it has been maintained very well and has been my daily driver for the past few months and runs GREAT but i cant afford the gas mileage. I'm only the 4th owner and i have paperwork and reciepts for most the work that was done when the engine was rebuilt around 1996. original owners manual and chiltons included.
8cyl. 289cu in rebuilt engine runs flawlessly, no sputtering. Automatic trans shifts great, new dual barrel carb, drum brakes all around (recently replaced)
Body damage - The passenger door was smashed by a drunk teenage driver (doesnt open), some rear quarter panel damage from same accident. some rust issues in the typical old Ford spots (floorboards etc), and the windshied is cracked up pretty bad
Body +s - Original paint in good cond., matching white wall tires w/all original "spoke style" hubs (with one extra hub), very cool hiding headlights work, sequential blinkers work, vinyl top in good condition, black leather interior in decent cond. (some rips + tears), dashboard in great cond. gauges work but gas gauge reads off a bit.
This car drives great and is definitly a collecters car just waiting to be restored, but also would be a great first car. Send me an email with questions or for a number to reach me at. Come take it around the block! I'm asking 2000 which is very reasonable considering the original parts and rebuilt engine, but make me a reasonable offer.

Up for sale is my 1998 Mercury Sable LS.
The GOOD:
Its the "LS" Luxury Sedan, its got leather interior, sun roof, 133,419K miles. Its got the "Duratec 24 Valve" V6 (mercury) Engine, not the crappy "Vulcan V6" that Ford put in the Taurus's that had so many problems.
It was my grandparents car and they always mantained it on time and once i got the car i continued to do the same.
New rear brakes, pads, rotors, and calipers Sept. 2009
New front brakes pads and rotors Feb. 2010
Two new rear tires and rims Jan. 2010
Brand new Interstate battery installed July 29, 2010
Transmission service recently as well, never had any drivability issues with this car. Have all bills and invoices for the stuff i've had done.
The BAD:
The car was stolen in January from West Seattle and they got as far as the Viaduct and hit the wall and fled the scene. As you can see in the pictures of the passenger side. NO damage was done to the locks or the ignition or steering colum. The car now doesnt drive true straight, the steering wheel is turned to right when you are driving straight. front windshield is cracked as well. The car WAS NOT totalled , it still runs, drives and shifts, fine
Other than that the car is ok. This car was almost perfect before it was stolen, we took great care of it. It would still be a great work car or commuter get to get from A and B.
I need to sell ASAP because i just bought a new Buick and need $$. I dont want to part it out, i dont have the time to do that, Just need it gone
I have tryed to be as honest with the car as i can. I loved this car and now it just makes me sad. Take her off my hands.

I have this very cool car up for sale or trade. Its a 1963 Mercury Monterey S55 2 door hardtop in all original condition. The carb has been rebuilt and the 390 motor runs great. The car comes with classic plates from Wa. The body is very very straight with only slight paint bubble on the lower rockers. This car runs and drives very well and cruises easy at 70 mph all day long. Always interested in trades but really need cash. Thanks for looking at my ad!
