Its got the 5.2 v8 with 233xxx miles on it and still runs like a champ
replaced the tranny 400 miles ago and still shifts smooth but leaks fluid ( about .5 qts a week) and makes a noise but thats just the rock guard on the tranny
lifted 6" (4" suspension 2" coil spacer)
33" toyo mts 50% tread
passenger side electronics are not working and i dont not know why. i do not have the time to fix it.
radio does not work either buts its been like that since i bought it

the body is really clean and has power locks and windows but like i said the passenger side isnt working right now

1986 Jeep CJ7. Last year Jeep produced the CJ series. This is a great rig with 85 000 miles on the body and a freshly rebuilt 258ci inline 6 rebuilt by ewing engines in Auburn. This motor has just over 1 200 miles on it and a motorcraft carb that performs better than the stock Jeep carbuerator (which I still have). When we replaced the motor we disconnected the "computer" and a whole box full of wires and hoses that came stock in 1986 for emissons purposes. I did this to get the motor back to basics (fuel air and spark) better gas economy and reliability. Research the "Nutter Bypass" for more information. The Jeep is lifted a little bit with new shocks all the way around its sitting on 33"x12.5 bfg all terrains. 5 speed tranny in fine working condition tranfer case shifts smoothly into 4 wheel drive. I have the besttop soft top for it with full soft doors half soft doors and bikini top. Needs passenger windshield wiper arm. I did not plan to sell my Jeep after just breaking in the motor. 1978 CJ7 with fresh rebuilt 383 Stroker w/ less than 1000 miles on it. New 4.10 front and rear gears. New 37" Mud terrains. Entire Jeep is Rhino-lined. I have a long list of what was done to jeep & will email specifics to interested parties with a reasonable trade. This is a built for off roading but is street legal. I am looking for another vehicle in trade. Interested in muscle cars fast cars economy cars pretty much whatever as long as in good shape no junk. I have about $13 000 into the jeep but am willing to be reasonable and accept around $8000 cash or value in trade. Hit me up and see what we can work out.
