The 6 cylinder in line engine has much better gas mileage than the V8 while still being very fast if driven in sport mode. According to all experts the xj6's produced between 95 and 97 are some of the best most durable/reliable cars Jaguar has ever made (if you are reading this post you probably already know it anyway...). These cars are great bargains here in the U.S. their low resale value is based on the reputation for unreliability and expensive parts that Jaguar had in the past this model is definitely an exception and that's why it is such a sweet deal!
I recently had the vacuum system checked all the spark plugs 2 oxygen sensors the valve cover gasket + tube seals and all ignition coils replaced. (around $1500 worth of repairs that you won't have to undertake)
I have the old parts and receipts for all the repairs the engine is running great and the transmission is smooth.
The previous owner replaced the struts 2 tires and the headliner just before I bought it a year ago. I'm the 3rd owner and the car has no history of accidents I had it inspected by a local British car shop (http://www.repairlandrover.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=frontpage&Itemid=1) when I bought it they were surprised by it's excellent shape and told me this was the cleanest engine they had seen in a long time...
It looks pristine inside and outside except for a couple of paint blemishes on the bumpers. It's amazing to me how the original paint still conserves the shine and gloss of a new car.
The plates are valid until November 2012.

Car is selling for much less than market value because it may need some work; I replaced engine with used engine and had the transmiassion rebuilt but car is still not running perfect. I do not want to spend anymore money need to sell.
PROBLEMS:
1) Car shifts are not smooth at times and engine/transmission fault light turns on.
2) Check engine light turns on sometimes
2) Bushings on shock towers may need to be replaced.
3) Roof liner upholstery needs to by glued back

There's not another one nicer than this one. It has never been in an accident . It has a clean Ca title. Paint is original and leather is nice. Stayfast top fabric is great. Car is selling for much less than market value because it may need some work; I replaced engine with used engine and had the transmiassion rebuilt but car is still not running perfect. I do not want to spend anymore money need to sell.
PROBLEMS:
1) Car shifts are not smooth at times and engine/transmission fault light turns on.
2) Check engine light turns on sometimes
2) Bushings on shock towers may need to be replaced.
3) Roof liner upholstery needs to by glued back

There's not another one nicer than this one. It has never been in an accident . It has a clean Ca title. Paint is original and leather is nice. Stayfast top fabric is great. Power top mechanism works well. Boot cover fit snug and tight. Has 6 CD changer in the trunk. 6 cylinder is good on gas economy and low on mantainence. It's ready to drive anywhere. Smog certified.

The 6 cylinder in line engine has much better gas mileage than the V8 while still being very fast if driven in sport mode. According to all experts the xj6's produced between 95 and 97 are some of the best most durable/reliable cars Jaguar has ever made (if you are reading this post you probably already know it anyway...). I recently had the vacuum system checked all the spark plugs 2 oxygen sensors the valve cover gasket + tube seals and all ignition coils replaced. (around $1500 worth of repairs that you won't have to undertake)
I have the old parts and receipts for all the repairs the engine is running great and the transmission is smooth.
The previous owner replaced the struts 2 tires and the headliner just before I bought it a year ago. I'm the 3rd owner and the car has no history of accidents I had it inspected by a local British car shop (http://www.repairlandrover.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=frontpage&Itemid=1) when I bought it they were surprised by it's excellent shape and told me this was the cleanest engine they had seen in a long time...
It looks pristine inside and outside except for a couple of paint blemishes on the bumpers. It's amazing to me how the original paint still conserves the shine and gloss of a new car.
The plates are valid until November 2012.

Car is selling for much less than market value because it may need some work; I replaced engine with used engine and had the transmiassion rebuilt but car is still not running perfect. I do not want to spend anymore money need to sell.

2) Check engine light turns on sometimes
2) Bushings on shock towers may need to be replaced.
3) Roof liner upholstery needs to by glued back

Solid car all stock original wire rims drive train ran when parked all glass is there dash hasn't been touched no rust or dents that I was able to see has been sitting for a couple of years so will need a good once over is part of a collection of cars that were used as a movie backdrop so it was fairly maintained these are the only pics do to the space in the yard so if interested I am sure we can set something up for you to see it so call Ryan at 760 475 0285 if you are interested.- Location: Riverside

There's not another one nicer than this one. It has never been in an accident . It has a clean Ca title. Paint is original and leather is nice. Stayfast top fabric is great. Power top mechanism works well. Boot cover fit snug and tight. Has 6 CD changer in the trunk. 6 cylinder is good on gas economy and low on mantainence. It's ready to drive anywhere. Smog certified.
