1963 Plymouth Valiant Signet 200 Slant Six (Vista, CA) $3000

Selling my baby 1963 Plymouth Valiant Signet 200.

Visual:

Pretty darn clean interior. No tears. Headliner has been re-done at some point. Immaculate dash pad. A few cracks on the steering wheel. All electric works.
Decent exterior for an older car. Zero rust. Slight damage on the right fender side from a light side swipe. Very minor body work needed.
Badges and trim missing on that side but I bought some off another car and are included to complete the trim entirely.
Good windows no water leaks .I put hubcaps and 14" rims off a later A-Body Mopar on it. I can include the original 13" wheels and hubcaps if wanted.



Engine:

Slant Six with 30 000 miles.
Cleaned up head slight port work done.
340 Springs.
Mopar Performance cam (.460" lift).
Stock bottom end.
Super Six intake manifold setup 2 barrel carb.
Runs pretty good once warmed up. No choke.
Good even compression in all cylinders.

Transmission:

Pushbutton 904.
Good working order up and down shifts good. Just put a new front seal and filter kit in it.

Rear axle:

7 1/4 Sure-grip unit with what I'm guessing are 3.91's from the RPM's I get on the freeway.


What it needs:

Right away it needs nothing major. It was my daily driver for a year.
I would eventually get a better exhaust for it (run you about $250 at a muffler shop) as I just have a shortie with a Cherry Bomb installed underneath.
Maybe a little playing around with the carb and distributor to get the gas mileage up to it's maximum.

The fenders have been cut to allow for bigger tires without having a bigger lift. power windows locks etc...
