Ok. So I have a 1997 mk3 Jetta Glx for sale. 5 speed, heated seats, sunroof. 12v VR6.
The goods:
Paint is a dark blue with 1 or 2 scratches on it,1 minor dent on the side. Nothing noticable.
its has a shaved bumper and trunk from its previous owner, I have the original bumper with foglights , turn signals and sidemarkers, badges.
Has been lowered about 2 inches on Neuspeed springs, Suspension rides smooth. (I have the original springs)
Sitting currently on 16' rims from a newer VW
Complete pioneer sound system.
Interior is black leather and in awesome condition.
recently replaced coolant sensors and coolant pipe.
Custom 2.5' exhaust with a 3' magnaflow.
All of the electronics work (windows, radio, heated seats, lights etc...)
Custom air intake (I have the original airbox)
It has the euro style front end for the mk3 (always a plus)
I have some spacers that would go with the car to give it a wider stance, I didnt put them on because you need to buy longer lugs.
Replaced the transmission (it has 78k).
It has been chipped with a discontinued EIP performance chip (i have the original)
The bad:
This car does have alot of miles. 194k. I have been maintaining it and staying on top of all the servicing and it has been fine with me, no exhaust leaks no oil leaks, fairly new lines. Come check it out for yourself.
The AC does not work. I have not tried fixing it. The previous owner said oil was getting in the lines but i found none. I will have it recharged before anyone comes to see it to see if it does work.
The radiator fan switch does not turn the fan on. I tested all the wiring and replaced all the coolant sensors and it did not fix it. so i wired in a switch under the hood to manually turn the fan on and off.
Bumper needs to be painted from body work and trunk.
If you are interested reply with email and i will send my number for further contact. There is probably a few mods i forgot to mention but you can see it in person. Located on the northwest side of 410.
I would consider a trade. BMW e36 body styles are nice, 70's 280z, classic Datsuns. No ricers. Make me an offer
