Hello I have a 91 Mercury Sable for sale. Passed smog in Dec. Has current tags untill Aug. 2012. Car has 165 xxx miles on It. interior and body is in gd shape for the year. Car started to over heat. 1969 Montego MX 4 Speed Convertible ordered with the Cyclone equipment group. This is a factory numbers matching S code 390 with 320 HP and factory 4 speed standard transmission. This Montego has: factory bucket seats console tachometer AM/FM radio delayed wipers extra cooling package courtesy lights heavy duty suspension package factory A/C magnum 500 wheels with Mercury center caps remote mirror tinted glass power steering power front disc brakes and power convertible top. It has ~124 000 original miles. This Montego was sold new in Butte Montana then spent the last 20 plus years in southern California. The car is rust free and solid. The body is very straight all doors trunk and hood close nicely. All the glass is in excellent shape. The power top is in very good condition with original glass back window. It comes with all manuals sales brochure Marti report and original window sticker. Recent engine tune-up. Car has just had a new clutch pressure plate throw out bearing and re-surfaced flywheel installed. New intake and valve cover gaskets. New rear brake cylinders. Motor and transmission oil changed. New rear KYB gas shocks.
This Montego is one of the rarest Mercury passenger cars produced.

Time to sell my early muscle car convertible. This 1964 Mercury is a true SURVIVOR that is a joy to drive. The car is completely original from the medium blue paint and interior to the white vinyl convertible top! Yes it is true - this Merc has always been garaged and it shows. With only 80 000 original miles the 390 V8 runs strong and all systems operate as they should. Optioned well from the factory this Monterey has power brakes and steering as well as a power top. The transmission is a three speed automatic. Factory original dual exhaust. The original radio is still in the dash and an aftermarket Pioneer stereo is mounted below the dash for good sound. Recent servicing includes new Goodyear radial T/As as well as new drum brakes all around!
The body is straight with no rust. The original paint is not perfect but in very nice condition. There have been some minor touch-ups to the paint over the years. The chrome and stainless trim are rust free and in generally very good condition. As stated before the soft top is original and in great shape for 48 years of age. The rear window is factory GLASS and zips down when the top is dropped. This is the 25th Anniversary edition for Mercury as indicated by the badge in the center of the original steering wheel. This is a VERY RARE model with only 2 592 made in 1964! You will NOT see many of these on the road and will likely not see another one for sale. The car came from Washington state where it was ALWAYS garaged. I am the third owner and have the complete history of the car. It is now registered in California and titled in my name. The car is now fit with California Black Plates through the DMV's YOM program. Priced to move this car is available now for viewing and purchase. Time to sell my early muscle car convertible. This 1964 Mercury is a true SURVIVOR that is a joy to drive. The car is completely original from the medium blue paint and interior to the white vinyl convertible top! Yes it is true - this Merc has always been garaged and it shows. With only 80 000 original miles the 390 V8 runs strong and all systems operate as they should. Optioned well from the factory this Monterey has power brakes and steering as well as a power top. The transmission is a three speed automatic. Factory original dual exhaust. The original radio is still in the dash and an aftermarket Pioneer stereo is mounted below the dash for good sound. Recent servicing includes new Goodyear radial T/As as well as new drum brakes all around!
The body is straight with no rust. The original paint is not perfect but in very nice condition. There have been some minor touch-ups to the paint over the years. The chrome and stainless trim are rust free and in generally very good condition. As stated before the soft top is original and in great shape for 48 years of age. The rear window is factory GLASS and zips down when the top is dropped. This is the 25th Anniversary edition for Mercury as indicated by the badge in the center of the original steering wheel. This is a VERY RARE model with only 2 592 made in 1964! You will NOT see many of these on the road and will likely not see another one for sale. The car came from Washington state where it was ALWAYS garaged. I am the third owner and have the complete history of the car. It is now registered in California and titled in my name. The car is now fit with California Black Plates through the DMV's YOM program. Priced to move this car is available now for viewing and purchase. Time to sell my early muscle car convertible. This 1964 Mercury is a true SURVIVOR that is a joy to drive. The car is completely original from the medium blue paint and interior to the white vinyl convertible top! Yes it is true - this Merc has always been garaged and it shows. With only 80 000 original miles the 390 V8 runs strong and all systems operate as they should. Optioned well from the factory this Monterey has power brakes and steering as well as a power top. The transmission is a three speed automatic. Factory original dual exhaust. The original radio is still in the dash and an aftermarket Pioneer stereo is mounted below the dash for good sound. Recent servicing includes new Goodyear radial T/As as well as new drum brakes all around!
The body is straight with no rust. The original paint is not perfect but in very nice condition. There have been some minor touch-ups to the paint over the years. The chrome and stainless trim are rust free and in generally very good condition. As stated before the soft top is original and in great shape for 48 years of age. The rear window is factory GLASS and zips down when the top is dropped. This is the 25th Anniversary edition for Mercury as indicated by the badge in the center of the original steering wheel. This is a VERY RARE model with only 2 592 made in 1964! You will NOT see many of these on the road and will likely not see another one for sale. The car came from Washington state where it was ALWAYS garaged. I am the third owner and have the complete history of the car. It is now registered in California and titled in my name. The car is now fit with California Black Plates through the DMV's YOM program. Priced to move this car is available now for viewing and purchase. Time to sell my early muscle car convertible. This 1964 Mercury is a true SURVIVOR that is a joy to drive. The car is completely original from the medium blue paint and interior to the white vinyl convertible top! Yes it is true - this Merc has always been garaged and it shows. With only 80 000 original miles the 390 V8 runs strong and all systems operate as they should. Optioned well from the factory this Monterey has power brakes and steering as well as a power top. The transmission is a three speed automatic. Factory original dual exhaust. The original radio is still in the dash and an aftermarket Pioneer stereo is mounted below the dash for good sound. Recent servicing includes new Goodyear radial T/As as well as new drum brakes all around!
The body is straight with no rust. The original paint is not perfect but in very nice condition. There have been some minor touch-ups to the paint over the years. The chrome and stainless trim are rust free and in generally very good condition. As stated before the soft top is original and in great shape for 48 years of age. The rear window is factory GLASS and zips down when the top is dropped. This is the 25th Anniversary edition for Mercury as indicated by the badge in the center of the original steering wheel. This is a VERY RARE model with only 2 592 made in 1964! You will NOT see many of these on the road and will likely not see another one for sale. The car came from Washington state where it was ALWAYS garaged. I am the third owner and have the complete history of the car. It is now registered in California and titled in my name. The car is now fit with California Black Plates through the DMV's YOM program. Priced to move this car is available now for viewing and purchase.
