96 Mercedes Benz C220 (mechanics special?) (Placerville) $1000

This car was originally supposed to be my first car but I later found that it being a European car is excruciatingly expensive to repair/smog . It has several small flaws with it and I'm not aware of all the problems with it till this day. I recommend buying this car either for parts or if your into a decently sized project. Most recently i replaced the rear left tire with a brand new one along with the battery (both of which have a magnitude years under warranty). The car is currently not smoged and it was lastly smoged in April of 2011. Now to the problems.
The car runs well and the paint job is still nearly perfect but there are minor abrasions throughout the body of the vehicles exterior
it has somewhere around 120 000 miles on it with a sticker verifying the motor was replaced 60 000 miles later.
Im not sure on that number due to the fact that the gauge cluster is dainty. I'd imagine that is part due to a minor short. It works one day and not the next ect.
3 of the tires are almost bare.
The thin wood/laminate surrounding the radio is in fine condition it just needs to be glued into place.
The sun roof has fallen off its mounts but i believe its a minor fix.
The biggest problem is when put in reverse it convulses in a strong vibrating motion.
Check engine light recently turned on hence no smog...
The heading has fallen down do to the previous owners smoking
Has a very mild marijuana fragrant.
Drivers side seat has seen better days on the contrary the other seats are in nearly pristine condition
tint on the back window is practically gone along with the rear windows.
The front right bumper has fallen off its mounts and is the reason for the salvage title. It easily can be held up with maybe one screw the frame suffered no damage.
This car has tons of little problems and those listed retain to the majority and or all of them. While most of them are non important and may take little to no time nor money to fix it is still a project car. I would be happy to answer any questions pertaining to the purchase of the car. My price is not firm and will be determined by either the amount of bids or if i only have one bidder.
