Specs: 1998 Mitsubishi Montero Sport LS 3.0 L V6 2wd

I hit a deer in Oct 2011. The engine is still okay but this Montero needs some body repairs. The windshield needs replacement and the air bags deployed. I bought a new radiator that comes with the purchase or I can sell it separately. You may want to buy its parts too. The wiper motor and battery are few months new. Second owner 124k original miles all maintenance records power windows ac 5sp Manual trans rwd. This car is clean and runs great for its age. There are a few small dents in the fenders from a tree falling on it it was like that when I bought it. New fenders would be 300 shipped I just don't have the time to fix it up. There is a slight miss at idle but runs down the road just fine.. Also from what I can tell there are a few sensors that are bad or just not connected. The car has been inspected as of january. I hate to part with it as I had big plans for it..

I bought this car for my wife to drive on her commute to work because of its great reliability rating (compare to Honda) and high mpg rating 33 mpg highway! It has a peppy quiet engine and very responsive brakes. She put about 10 000 miles on it. Then I found out she "hates red" and had her eye on another car. She got the car she wanted and so the "red" one is for sale. The low price is because of the missing wheel covers several scrapes and dings and the hood is bent on right side where someone tried to shut it with the prop rod still in place. It has since been repaired with a reinforcement bracket and functions normally. If you want a mechanically rock solid well maintained dependable car and don't mind the cosmetics this Japanese jewel provides more car for your money.

Here is a car you don't see for sale often! This is from the first year the Lancer Evolution was imported to the US. Very few were brought over this first year and this is truly a rare car to see on the road. It is a powerhouse 271 turbocharged horsepower all wheel drive and a super tight suspension. It comes stock with Brembo brakes Enkei wheels Recaro racing seats and a MOMO steering wheel. This year also has the full carbon fiber rear wing which went to a hollow carbon fiber wing in later years. This car also has a front mounted intercooler with a water sprayer to keep it cool in during high performance maneuvers and it has High Intensity Displacement (HID) headlights with a motorized leveling feature.

I have owned this car for about five years I bought it used with 23K miles. It has been very well maintained oil changes were performed with full synthetic Mobil-1 (Factory Fill) and K&N Oil filters used. A K&N Air filter installed in the factory airbox. The 60K service was performed right at 60k replacing the timing belt spark plugs and wires among the other required 60k service items at the Mitsubishi dealer. The car is almost completely stock. No engine upgrades but the shocks/struts were replaced back at 44k miles with brand new Bilsteins. Tires and brakes were recently replaced: Here are few maintenance items performed recently:

Michelin Pilot Super Sports were installed at 69k miles
Rear Brembo brake pads and rotors were installed at 60k miles
Front Brembo brade pads and rotors were installed at 69k miles
Brand new OEM clutch flywheel (with new bolts) and input bearing were installed at 72k miles.

Up for sale is my 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8.

I bought the car stock with around 77 000. It now has 105 XXX miles and will continue to go up because it is my daily driver. At 95 000 miles a 60/120k mile service was done. At the same time Most of the modifications were installed and the car put down 440/428 on a dynojet. The car is more than capable of making more power but I needed it to be reliable. I only use Brad Penn oil and change it every 2k miles. I have almost all of the stock parts still and all of the receipts for the modifications/maintenance.
