I've decided to sell my custom 1961 Chevy 4x4. It's a '61 Chevy C10 (Apache 10) sitting on a '79 K20 (Silverado?) 4x4 frame and drive train. Has a newer 454 crate motor backed with a turbo 400 and a NP 203 transfer case with 2WD/4WD conversion and locking front hubs 14 bolt one ton rear end and a dana 60 in front and almost new 35's. Seat is from a Lincoln Continental with seat belts center arm rest and it still folds forward. It also has brand new door locks brand new ignition switch front and rear receiver hitches ladder rack with overhead amber light on the rack NOT the cab roof lockable tool box and much more too much to list. Has a few problems; biggest is it needs a windshield. It also needs tags a little rust repair and very little else. All lights and gauges work. Starts runs drives and stops great. Gets used almost every day always fires up has never let me down and never been stuck. This is a very well built and very capable truck just not my thing. I'm asking for $7 000 ca$h or best reasonable offer or nice trade but no big trucks bikes mini vans or commuter cars. Would really like a nice 240SX with dual cam and a 5 speed willing to deal/trade up or down for the right car. Trade must run and drive have a title and be able to pass DEQ. The first thing I would like to say is this has a brand new transmissions from Cottmans Transmissions in Vancouver WA. I have all paper work for this. Not even 1000 miles on it! Spent $ 2 250.00 on it. Thats why I have this priced the way I do....it will be around for a long time. (See below things I have done since I owned it)

One thing I can say about this car....its that Lincoln had accomplished its mission for the 1999 Continental: That mission according to Lincoln-Mercury was to provide 'exemplary comfort and ride quality in a highly maneuverable sedan with distinctive styling.' The Continental does all that and does it with its own interpretation of what a luxury car should be.
That interpretation includes the latest in electronic technology: Suspension damping and steering effort are controlled electronically by the driver.A high-tech instrument panel provides improved legibility while computer controls allows owners to tailor their Continentals to their driving style and environment. 145k miles. least another one hundred plus thousand to go with the improvments done on it. These whiz-bang electronics are not intrusive however as an owner can choose to use them or ignore them relax and enjoy the cruise. Either way driving the Continental is and always will be a satisfying experience.

Things I have done very recently:

1. All brand new top of the line spark plugs all 8.
2. Full synthetic oil
3. Best oil filter I could buy on it.
4. New air filter.
5. New pully replaced ( I seen getting loose)
6. New Belt around the above pully.
7. Newer battery in it (put in by previous owner)
8. 80 000 miles good year tires! 98% tread on them! Barely a few thousand miles on them.
9. Brand new transmission as I mentioned beofre a $ 2 250.00 value. Paper work provided


Engine is in perfect shape! clean under the hood.

Was $ 3 495. just reduced to $ 4 294 (I have put an estimate $ 2 500 into this car)
