I bought this car 2 years ago from the original owners who were an 80 year old Oregon couple. It had 18 000 miles when I bought it and he just put new Pereli's on it because it was 10 years old not because they were worn out. New spare also. Always garaged and rarely driven in the rain this car is flawless. It now has 26 000 miles on it and the only reason I am selling it is because I rarely drive it and I am sacraficing it for a motorhome I just bought. Also we have another one my wife drives. Just did new registration tags thru 2014.
Forget about checking car value sites because they don't really have anything to do with the market reality on these cars. Monte Shelton Jag in Portland has a 1999 one just like this with 46.000 miles for the same price. It is blue but I think the Carnival Red with Cashmere interior is the best combination they put out.
This car was over $55 000 new and it still looks and smells new. Have it checked out wherever you want but nothing wrong with it. Just drive it and watch the heads turn. Rare top quality luxury. You won't find another like this anywhere. Do the craiglsit email with your phone number only. Will not respond to emails. This is a real car and I want to deal with real people.

I am selling this car that i have had for a very long time. i don't know much about jaguars so if there's someone interested on it i would recommend come and look at it. the car runs and drives. it has no plates cause it had custom plates on it so i took those off to keep. the interior is mostly great except for the cloth on the roof that's falling off but from there everything else is in great condition. the mechanic that did the tunes ups on the car for the past three yeaRS told me spark 2&3 were completely worn now and that the engine would shake till i get does changed. i have other cars and just wanna sell it like that.

The engine is a world class 4.2L 32 Valve 300 HP V8 with loads of torque and a rated 0-60 time of 6.5 seconds.  It uses a timing chain (no costly belt replacements).  Water pump has no replacement interval.  The transmission is ZF 6HP26 - 6 speed automatic which has exceptional durability and performance.  Would you believe it pushes 30 MPG on the hwy?  It's true.  Mixed driving will get you 23-24 MPG.  Yes it requires premium fuel. I purchased the car 1 year ago from an elderly lady.  It had 20k miles on it at the time.  I had the car inspected by The Jag Shop in Portland.  They found absolutely nothing wrong with it.  Every lights motor switch button feature option works flawlessly.  There are no leaks strange noises and no wrecks.  It has been serviced multiple times since then by the dealer (standard oil changes & fluid checks).  I had the wheels & tires installed 2k miles ago and had the wheel alignment done to ensure the expensive Pirelli tires wear evenly.  I purchased the all weather floor mats and wiper blades from the dealer and had the windows professionally tinted.  I've had no repairs or issues whatsoever.
