1989 Honda Civic EFI 5 speed manual transmission 200k miles runs and drives great! Makes for an awesome daily driver gets around 35 MPG highway!

Has been sitting for about 6 years. Pink in hand and has been "non-op" since August 2006. I have owned the truck for about 15 years and have never used the 5th wheel hook up. Trying to help out my brother in law I let him do some work on the truck. I used to manage a Winston Tire store and felt sorry for my brother in law because he just got laided off. He was a mechanic for Laidlaw working on school buses. Truck was running perfect was getting 18 miles to the gallon and the water pump started to leak out the "weep hole". So I let him do the water pump hoses thermostat gaskets and flush the radiator. Truck only made it about 30 miles down the fwy and overheated on the way to a friends house in Chino. So I got it towed to my friends house filled the radiator back up and could not find anything wrong. No leaks anywhere but the engine just did not sound right. So I had it towed home. But have no way of working on it at my house and my brother in law refused to help. So there it has been sitting. Was still running fine when parked just the engine was making that funny noise. Noise was barely noticable over the regular diesel engine noise. Don't know what he did wrong but something caused it to overheat. He must have rushed job out of his element and put in the wrong thermostat put thermostat in backwards didn't hot run it and top off radiator after the thermostat opened. Later I came to find out he put a thermostat from a different year chevy truck because the parts place did not have the exact year one in stock. He told me it looked the same. Was holding on to it knowing I would fix it sometime in the future but just bought a 4X4 power stroke so it is time to sell it. Everything worked fine on the truck. Has maybe 10 000 miles on rebuilt turbo 400 automatic tranny AC blew ice cold nice strereo with speakers in all 4 doors alcoa type 16 inch wheels with old but very good LT235/85R16 tires with lots of tread. Brown paint is fading and clear coat starting to peal on hood and left front fender. As fas as I can remember everything else mechanical on the truck is perfect. Brakes suspension power steering alternator drive shaft rear end ....etc. It is a 4 door crew cab the drivers side rear door has a dent in it. Was driving fine with no problems but the slight engine noise. Oil pressure great. Who knows how long truck might have kept running but I did not want to risk it. Would be perfect for a motor swap drive it or rebuild the 6.2 and maybe turbo charge it. WILL NOT PART OUT. $2 000 or best offer. Need it gone out of driveway to make room for new truck.
