I have a 92 Mercedes 190E 2.6 sport line for sale. It has 226000 thousand miles.
Tires are Michelin and have about 70% life left in them.
It has upgraded Mercedes 16 inch wheels.
The interior is in good condition for the age. No rips or tears just normal wear.
The power windows power locks and power sunroof all work properly.
The body has a few small dings here and there.
This is a fairly rare car with only around 700 built.
This car has been maintained like a Mercedes should. It was just tuned with new spark plugs air filter distributor cap and rotor.
The brakes are in good condition no pulsation or vibration when braking
. The exhaust is in good condition as well with no leaks.
It has had a 4 wheel alignment and front lower ball joints replaced.
The engine rear crankshaft seal has been replaced.
The brake fluid and coolant have been flushed.
The transmission has been serviced.
The rear diff fluid has been changed.
The windshield is cracked.

I have a 1992 Lumina Z34. it is alright on gas if you dont drive around like i do. i drive it to lakeville 3 to 4 times a week and kenyon daily. there are a couple minor dents here and there but is a really nice car if you want a beater. starts up even on the coldest days. there is one problem with it tho.. it needs a new idle control sensor put in it but i can easily fix that in five minutes. also kinda loud

Up for sale is a fabulous 2002 Saturn SC1 with almost all the options. Its equipped with a gas efficient 1.9 liter engine with Auto transmission. Comes with power locks power windows power mirrors cruise control CD player AC Heat etc. Car has been washed and detailed regularly so the inside of the car is basically brand new! Outside is a 9/10 with absolutely no rust or dents. Oil has been changed with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic and Extended Guard oil filter (every 3 000-3 500 miles). Only con with this car is that it comes with a marked title...The rear bumper quarter and tail light were replaced. I HAVE a picture of the damage which was not severe at all.

Listed here is a 2003 Saturn Vue. It's the All Wheel Drive version with the 3.0 liter 6 cylinder engine. Just rolled over 107 xxx last week which is pretty low mileage for a ~9 year old car (a little under 12 000 miles a year). I just don't need all the space and a car with a smidge more gas mileage couldn't hurt.
It's got basically all the options:
Leather seats (tear in the drivers seat)
Heated front seats
Adjustable front seats (forward and back driver has up and down as well)
Reese Trailer hitch
Aftermarket radio (Pioneer) which it will come with but I'll throw in the stock radio as well
Brand new front brakes (about 3 days old)
Brand new windshield and rear wipers (maybe a week old)
Will be putting a brand new windshield in at some point before it's sold (couple chips but I have glass coverage might as well use it)
30/70 folding rear seats
Power sunroof
Daytime running lights
Fog lights
Hard to find protective body cladding along bottoms of doors
Handles snow mud rain anything like a champ.
I've driven this through a muddy field on many occasion without a problem.
Last winter I was pulling people out of snowy ditches left and right.
I use this to deliver pizza in ( I will be deep cleaning the interior to get rid of any pizza smell) and it has powered through without a problem.
Bottom line:
Very reliable
Pretty quick for an SUV (I couldn't exactly deliver pizzas that well if it wasn't)
Tons of space (we used this to move 4 friends and I with about a single trip each)
Good gas mileage ( I was told to expect around 21 city 26 highway. I've gotten that but usually better and keep in mind I'm usually hard on the gas)
I haven't taken very many pictures of it but I have no problem snapping pictures upon request (email picture messaging)

I am the second owner of this car and bought it with 15k It has been a great car however it doesn't fit our needs anymore. It has ~195k miles with decent tires and cold AC. It does need a new starter soon and has a small crack in the drivers front fender. I replaced the struts Radiator and front wheel bearings this past summer. It is the classic Saturn gold-ish color with tan interior.

Up for sale/ trade is a 2001 Saturn SL2. The car is very clean inside and out with 199k miles automatic transmission shifts great and the heater blows hot.. The engine was completely re-built 4 000 miles ago i have receipts for over 1k of work. Battery and alternator have also been replaced. Car has around 4 000 miles on new tires as well. I purchased the car from the original owner that used it to commute 120 miles a day. I have a folder containing receipts for everything done to the car since day one. I get around 34 mpg on the hwy and 27mpg in mostly city driving to work. I'd be willing to trade for a 5 speed honda or an extended cab truck possibly other cars doesn't hurt to ask.

Ive got a great running 2002 Saturn sc2 3 door coupe for sale. Clan title in hand! The car has 169 500 and many more miles to go.This car gets 32 to 40 mpg! Many new part. . . radiator tranny cooler lines upper and lower hoses thermostat new coolant new head lights new tires new drivers hub. This car is ready to go and needs NOTHING! I am moving out of state in a few weeks and need something bigger. The only bad is the passenger side was hit by some one that didn't stop not bad at all though see pic. It has 125 300 miles on it. 4 cylinder engine & all wheel drive. It had new tires when I bought it a year & a half ago - one of those was replaced due to a puncture. It hasn't been in any accidents.

Up for sale is our trusty Saturn SL2 in "Bad Mofo Teal" with automatic transmission traction control AM/FM cassette cruise control plush cloth interior a Curt class II trailer hitch and 193 000 miles of experience. This sweet baby was manufactured in the good old US of A in 11/1993 in Spring Hill Tennessee when Clinton and Gore were still in the White House Seinfeld was the number 1 sitcom GNR's Use Your Illusion I and II were still their last albums and you could board a plane without a reach around. Good times good times indeed.
With 193 000 miles of experience comes some wear and tear but this fine machine is ready to go another 100 000. See the pics to glory in the battle scars of 18 years of high living on America's highways and byways. The passenger side rear fender reflector (pointless anyway) is missing the driver side rear bumper has lost some paint (again useless) and there is a rock chip and crack in the windshield (less pointless but you can squint around it). The passenger side front wheel bearing is getting a little noisy in the cold of winter for the first mile or so but is still tight and makes no noise once the car or weather warms up above freezing. The cloth interior is in great shape all the features knobs buttons and other accoutrements are fully functional. Oh except the indicator bulb that indicates high-beam headlights. That is burned out but the brights still work fine. The car also sports a pretty new set of tires brake pads and brake rotors with less than 15k on them. The rear struts are new and have less than 5k. In 15 years of ownership the only problems have been a bad rear wheel bearing (replaced) and a bad fuel injector (replaced). We average about 33 mpg on the highway and 25 in the city in the summer and a little less in the winter.
Now with all that good news you'd think this car is a steal. And you'd be right but there is more to the story. Back in the 90's this car was totaled hit in the rear the bright future and long life of this fine automobile was almost cut short. Then along came a similarly lovely 1995 Saturn SL2 that was hit in the front and totaled. These two machines were brought together by the able hands welder and wallet of my father-in-law to yield the impressive 94/95 specimen you see before you. He has completed this process on 5 Saturn SL's and each went on to a long and fruitful life of economy style cruising.
So in the past this car had a salvage title although after moving to California and Illinois and then back to Minnesota the title is clean since Illinois does not track salvage. A carfax will most likely find the salvage details though. The car has been a solid performer for about 150 000 miles after the rebuild. There is some rust associated with the mid-body weld after 15 years. This has not impacted the car's ability to tow a 13 foot Boston Whaler with ease though.
As the primary mechanic on the car I have accumulated a number of spare parts and other aids to diagnosing problems. Along with the pictured car you will receive an extra ECM (Electronic Control Module) an extra ignition coil some other misc parts and a Haynes repair manual. Oh and as of today it has a full tank of gas. Bonus.

Up for sale is a fabulous 2002 Saturn SC1 with almost all the options. Its equipped with a gas efficient 1.9 liter engine with Auto transmission. Comes with power locks power windows power mirrors cruise control CD player AC Heat etc. Car has been washed and detailed regularly so the inside of the car is basically brand new! Outside is a 9/10 with absolutely no rust or dents. Oil has been changed with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic and Extended Guard oil filter (every 3 000-3 500 miles). Only con with this car is that it comes with a marked title...The rear bumper quarter and tail light were replaced. I HAVE a picture of the damage which was not severe at all.

Listed here is a 2003 Saturn Vue. It's the All Wheel Drive version with the 3.0 liter 6 cylinder engine. Just rolled over 107 xxx last week which is pretty low mileage for a ~9 year old car (a little under 12 000 miles a year). I just don't need all the space and a car with a smidge more gas mileage couldn't hurt.
It's got basically all the options:
Leather seats (tear in the drivers seat)
Heated front seats
Adjustable front seats (forward and back driver has up and down as well)
Reese Trailer hitch
Aftermarket radio (Pioneer) which it will come with but I'll throw in the stock radio as well
Brand new front brakes (about 3 days old)
Brand new windshield and rear wipers (maybe a week old)
Will be putting a brand new windshield in at some point before it's sold (couple chips but I have glass coverage might as well use it)
30/70 folding rear seats
Power sunroof
Daytime running lights
Fog lights
Hard to find protective body cladding along bottoms of doors
Handles snow mud rain anything like a champ.
I've driven this through a muddy field on many occasion without a problem.
Last winter I was pulling people out of snowy ditches left and right.
I use this to deliver pizza in ( I will be deep cleaning the interior to get rid of any pizza smell) and it has powered through without a problem.
Bottom line:
Very reliable
Pretty quick for an SUV (I couldn't exactly deliver pizzas that well if it wasn't)
Tons of space (we used this to move 4 friends and I with about a single trip each)
Good gas mileage ( I was told to expect around 21 city 26 highway. I've gotten that but usually better and keep in mind I'm usually hard on the gas)
I haven't taken very many pictures of it but I have no problem snapping pictures upon request (email picture messaging)

I am the second owner of this car and bought it with 15k It has been a great car however it doesn't fit our needs anymore. It has ~195k miles with decent tires and cold AC. It does need a new starter soon and has a small crack in the drivers front fender. I replaced the struts Radiator and front wheel bearings this past summer. Up for sale/ trade is a 2001 Saturn SL2. The car is very clean inside and out with 199k miles automatic transmission shifts great and the heater blows hot.. The engine was completely re-built 4 000 miles ago i have receipts for over 1k of work. Battery and alternator have also been replaced. Car has around 4 000 miles on new tires as well. I purchased the car from the original owner that used it to commute 120 miles a day. I have a folder containing receipts for everything done to the car since day one. I get around 34 mpg on the hwy and 27mpg in mostly city driving to work. I'd be willing to trade for a 5 speed honda or an extended cab truck possibly other cars doesn't hurt to ask.

Up for sale is our trusty Saturn SL2 in "Bad Mofo Teal" with automatic transmission traction control AM/FM cassette cruise control plush cloth interior a Curt class II trailer hitch and 193 000 miles of experience. This sweet baby was manufactured in the good old US of A in 11/1993 in Spring Hill Tennessee when Clinton and Gore were still in the White House Seinfeld was the number 1 sitcom GNR's Use Your Illusion I and II were still their last albums and you could board a plane without a reach around. Good times good times indeed.
With 193 000 miles of experience comes some wear and tear but this fine machine is ready to go another 100 000. See the pics to glory in the battle scars of 18 years of high living on America's highways and byways. The passenger side rear fender reflector (pointless anyway) is missing the driver side rear bumper has lost some paint (again useless) and there is a rock chip and crack in the windshield (less pointless but you can squint around it). The passenger side front wheel bearing is getting a little noisy in the cold of winter for the first mile or so but is still tight and makes no noise once the car or weather warms up above freezing. The cloth interior is in great shape all the features knobs buttons and other accoutrements are fully functional. Oh except the indicator bulb that indicates high-beam headlights. That is burned out but the brights still work fine. The car also sports a pretty new set of tires brake pads and brake rotors with less than 15k on them. The rear struts are new and have less than 5k. In 15 years of ownership the only problems have been a bad rear wheel bearing (replaced) and a bad fuel injector (replaced). We average about 33 mpg on the highway and 25 in the city in the summer and a little less in the winter.
Now with all that good news you'd think this car is a steal. And you'd be right but there is more to the story. Back in the 90's this car was totaled hit in the rear the bright future and long life of this fine automobile was almost cut short. Then along came a similarly lovely 1995 Saturn SL2 that was hit in the front and totaled. These two machines were brought together by the able hands welder and wallet of my father-in-law to yield the impressive 94/95 specimen you see before you. He has completed this process on 5 Saturn SL's and each went on to a long and fruitful life of economy style cruising.
So in the past this car had a salvage title although after moving to California and Illinois and then back to Minnesota the title is clean since Illinois does not track salvage. A carfax will most likely find the salvage details though. The car has been a solid performer for about 150 000 miles after the rebuild. There is some rust associated with the mid-body weld after 15 years. This has not impacted the car's ability to tow a 13 foot Boston Whaler with ease though.
As the primary mechanic on the car I have accumulated a number of spare parts and other aids to diagnosing problems. Along with the pictured car you will receive an extra ECM (Electronic Control Module) an extra ignition coil some other misc parts and a Haynes repair manual. Oh and as of today it has a full tank of gas. Bonus.

I have a 92 Mercedes 190E 2.6 sport line for sale. It has 226000 thousand miles.

Up for sale is a fabulous 2002 Saturn SC1 with almost all the options. Its equipped with a gas efficient 1.9 liter engine with Auto transmission. Comes with power locks power windows power mirrors cruise control CD player AC Heat etc. Car has been washed and detailed regularly so the inside of the car is basically brand new! Outside is a 9/10 with absolutely no rust or dents. Oil has been changed with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic and Extended Guard oil filter (every 3 000-3 500 miles). Listed here is a 2003 Saturn Vue. It's the All Wheel Drive version with the 3.0 liter 6 cylinder engine. Just rolled over 107 xxx last week which is pretty low mileage for a ~9 year old car (a little under 12 000 miles a year). I just don't need all the space and a car with a smidge more gas mileage couldn't hurt.
It's got basically all the options:
Leather seats (tear in the drivers seat)
Heated front seats
Adjustable front seats (forward and back driver has up and down as well)
Reese Trailer hitch
Aftermarket radio (Pioneer) which it will come with but I'll throw in the stock radio as well
Brand new front brakes (about 3 days old)
Brand new windshield and rear wipers (maybe a week old)
Will be putting a brand new windshield in at some point before it's sold (couple chips but I have glass coverage might as well use it)
30/70 folding rear seats
Power sunroof
Daytime running lights
Fog lights
Hard to find protective body cladding along bottoms of doors
Handles snow mud rain anything like a champ.
I've driven this through a muddy field on many occasion without a problem.
Last winter I was pulling people out of snowy ditches left and right.
I use this to deliver pizza in ( I will be deep cleaning the interior to get rid of any pizza smell) and it has powered through without a problem.
Bottom line:
Very reliable
Pretty quick for an SUV (I couldn't exactly deliver pizzas that well if it wasn't)
Tons of space (we used this to move 4 friends and I with about a single trip each)
Good gas mileage ( I was told to expect around 21 city 26 highway. I've gotten that but usually better and keep in mind I'm usually hard on the gas)
I haven't taken very many pictures of it but I have no problem snapping pictures upon request (email picture messaging)

Up for sale/ trade is a 2001 Saturn SL2. The car is very clean inside and out with 199k miles automatic transmission shifts great and the heater blows hot.. The engine was completely re-built 4 000 miles ago i have receipts for over 1k of work. Battery and alternator have also been replaced. Car has around 4 000 miles on new tires as well. I purchased the car from the original owner that used it to commute 120 miles a day. I have a folder containing receipts for everything done to the car since day one. Up for sale is our trusty Saturn SL2 in "Bad Mofo Teal" with automatic transmission traction control AM/FM cassette cruise control plush cloth interior a Curt class II trailer hitch and 193 000 miles of experience. This sweet baby was manufactured in the good old US of A in 11/1993 in Spring Hill Tennessee when Clinton and Gore were still in the White House Seinfeld was the number 1 sitcom GNR's Use Your Illusion I and II were still their last albums and you could board a plane without a reach around. Good times good times indeed.
With 193 000 miles of experience comes some wear and tear but this fine machine is ready to go another 100 000. See the pics to glory in the battle scars of 18 years of high living on America's highways and byways. The passenger side rear fender reflector (pointless anyway) is missing the driver side rear bumper has lost some paint (again useless) and there is a rock chip and crack in the windshield (less pointless but you can squint around it). The passenger side front wheel bearing is getting a little noisy in the cold of winter for the first mile or so but is still tight and makes no noise once the car or weather warms up above freezing. The cloth interior is in great shape all the features knobs buttons and other accoutrements are fully functional. Oh except the indicator bulb that indicates high-beam headlights. That is burned out but the brights still work fine. The car also sports a pretty new set of tires brake pads and brake rotors with less than 15k on them. The rear struts are new and have less than 5k. In 15 years of ownership the only problems have been a bad rear wheel bearing (replaced) and a bad fuel injector (replaced). We average about 33 mpg on the highway and 25 in the city in the summer and a little less in the winter.
Now with all that good news you'd think this car is a steal. And you'd be right but there is more to the story. Back in the 90's this car was totaled hit in the rear the bright future and long life of this fine automobile was almost cut short. Then along came a similarly lovely 1995 Saturn SL2 that was hit in the front and totaled. These two machines were brought together by the able hands welder and wallet of my father-in-law to yield the impressive 94/95 specimen you see before you. He has completed this process on 5 Saturn SL's and each went on to a long and fruitful life of economy style cruising.
So in the past this car had a salvage title although after moving to California and Illinois and then back to Minnesota the title is clean since Illinois does not track salvage. A carfax will most likely find the salvage details though. The car has been a solid performer for about 150 000 miles after the rebuild. There is some rust associated with the mid-body weld after 15 years. This has not impacted the car's ability to tow a 13 foot Boston Whaler with ease though.
As the primary mechanic on the car I have accumulated a number of spare parts and other aids to diagnosing problems. Along with the pictured car you will receive an extra ECM (Electronic Control Module) an extra ignition coil some other misc parts and a Haynes repair manual. Oh and as of today it has a full tank of gas. Bonus.

Up for sale is a fabulous 2002 Saturn SC1 with almost all the options. Its equipped with a gas efficient 1.9 liter engine with Auto transmission. Comes with power locks power windows power mirrors cruise control CD player AC Heat etc. Car has been washed and detailed regularly so the inside of the car is basically brand new! Outside is a 9/10 with absolutely no rust or dents. Oil has been changed with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic and Extended Guard oil filter (every 3 000-3 500 miles). Only con with this car is that it comes with a marked title...The rear bumper quarter and tail light were replaced. I HAVE a picture of the damage which was not severe at all.

Listed here is a 2003 Saturn Vue. It's the All Wheel Drive version with the 3.0 liter 6 cylinder engine. Just rolled over 107 xxx last week which is pretty low mileage for a ~9 year old car (a little under 12 000 miles a year). I just don't need all the space and a car with a smidge more gas mileage couldn't hurt.
It's got basically all the options:

Handles snow mud rain anything like a champ.
I've driven this through a muddy field on many occasion without a problem.
Last winter I was pulling people out of snowy ditches left and right.
I use this to deliver pizza in ( I will be deep cleaning the interior to get rid of any pizza smell) and it has powered through without a problem.
Bottom line:
Very reliable
Pretty quick for an SUV (I couldn't exactly deliver pizzas that well if it wasn't)
Tons of space (we used this to move 4 friends and I with about a single trip each)
Good gas mileage ( I was told to expect around 21 city 26 highway. I've gotten that but usually better and keep in mind I'm usually hard on the gas)
I haven't taken very many pictures of it but I have no problem snapping pictures upon request (email picture messaging)

I am the second owner of this car and bought it with 15k It has been a great car however it doesn't fit our needs anymore. It has ~195k miles with decent tires and cold AC. It does need a new starter soon and has a small crack in the drivers front fender. I replaced the struts Radiator and front wheel bearings this past summer. Up for sale/ trade is a 2001 Saturn SL2. The car is very clean inside and out with 199k miles automatic transmission shifts great and the heater blows hot.. The engine was completely re-built 4 000 miles ago i have receipts for over 1k of work. Battery and alternator have also been replaced. Car has around 4 000 miles on new tires as well. I purchased the car from the original owner that used it to commute 120 miles a day. I have a folder containing receipts for everything done to the car since day one. I get around 34 mpg on the hwy and 27mpg in mostly city driving to work. I'd be willing to trade for a 5 speed honda or an extended cab truck possibly other cars doesn't hurt to ask.

Up for sale is our trusty Saturn SL2 in "Bad Mofo Teal" with automatic transmission traction control AM/FM cassette cruise control plush cloth interior a Curt class II trailer hitch and 193 000 miles of experience. This sweet baby was manufactured in the good old US of A in 11/1993 in Spring Hill Tennessee when Clinton and Gore were still in the White House Seinfeld was the number 1 sitcom GNR's Use Your Illusion I and II were still their last albums and you could board a plane without a reach around. Good times good times indeed.
With 193 000 miles of experience comes some wear and tear but this fine machine is ready to go another 100 000. See the pics to glory in the battle scars of 18 years of high living on America's highways and byways. The passenger side rear fender reflector (pointless anyway) is missing the driver side rear bumper has lost some paint (again useless) and there is a rock chip and crack in the windshield (less pointless but you can squint around it). The passenger side front wheel bearing is getting a little noisy in the cold of winter for the first mile or so but is still tight and makes no noise once the car or weather warms up above freezing. The cloth interior is in great shape all the features knobs buttons and other accoutrements are fully functional. Oh except the indicator bulb that indicates high-beam headlights. That is burned out but the brights still work fine. The car also sports a pretty new set of tires brake pads and brake rotors with less than 15k on them. The rear struts are new and have less than 5k. In 15 years of ownership the only problems have been a bad rear wheel bearing (replaced) and a bad fuel injector (replaced). We average about 33 mpg on the highway and 25 in the city in the summer and a little less in the winter.
Now with all that good news you'd think this car is a steal. And you'd be right but there is more to the story. Back in the 90's this car was totaled hit in the rear the bright future and long life of this fine automobile was almost cut short. Then along came a similarly lovely 1995 Saturn SL2 that was hit in the front and totaled. These two machines were brought together by the able hands welder and wallet of my father-in-law to yield the impressive 94/95 specimen you see before you. He has completed this process on 5 Saturn SL's and each went on to a long and fruitful life of economy style cruising.
So in the past this car had a salvage title although after moving to California and Illinois and then back to Minnesota the title is clean since Illinois does not track salvage. A carfax will most likely find the salvage details though. The car has been a solid performer for about 150 000 miles after the rebuild. There is some rust associated with the mid-body weld after 15 years. This has not impacted the car's ability to tow a 13 foot Boston Whaler with ease though.
As the primary mechanic on the car I have accumulated a number of spare parts and other aids to diagnosing problems. Along with the pictured car you will receive an extra ECM (Electronic Control Module) an extra ignition coil some other misc parts and a Haynes repair manual. Oh and as of today it has a full tank of gas. Bonus.

Listed here is a 2003 Saturn Vue. It's the All Wheel Drive version with the 3.0 liter 6 cylinder engine. Just rolled over 107 xxx last week which is pretty low mileage for a ~9 year old car (a little under 12 000 miles a year). I just don't need all the space and a car with a smidge more gas mileage couldn't hurt.
It's got basically all the options:
Leather seats (tear in the drivers seat)
Heated front seats
Adjustable front seats (forward and back driver has up and down as well)
Reese Trailer hitch
Aftermarket radio (Pioneer) which it will come with but I'll throw in the stock radio as well
Brand new front brakes (about 3 days old)
Brand new windshield and rear wipers (maybe a week old)
Will be putting a brand new windshield in at some point before it's sold (couple chips but I have glass coverage might as well use it)
30/70 folding rear seats
Power sunroof
Daytime running lights
Fog lights
Hard to find protective body cladding along bottoms of doors
Handles snow mud rain anything like a champ.
I've driven this through a muddy field on many occasion without a problem.
Last winter I was pulling people out of snowy ditches left and right.
I use this to deliver pizza in ( I will be deep cleaning the interior to get rid of any pizza smell) and it has powered through without a problem.
Bottom line:
Very reliable
Pretty quick for an SUV (I couldn't exactly deliver pizzas that well if it wasn't)
Tons of space (we used this to move 4 friends and I with about a single trip each)
Good gas mileage ( I was told to expect around 21 city 26 highway. I've gotten that but usually better and keep in mind I'm usually hard on the gas)
I haven't taken very many pictures of it but I have no problem snapping pictures upon request (email picture messaging)

The engine was completely re-built 4 000 miles ago i have receipts for over 1k of work. Battery and alternator have also been replaced. Car has around 4 000 miles on new tires as well. Up for sale is our trusty Saturn SL2 in "Bad Mofo Teal" with automatic transmission traction control AM/FM cassette cruise control plush cloth interior a Curt class II trailer hitch and 193 000 miles of experience. This sweet baby was manufactured in the good old US of A in 11/1993 in Spring Hill Tennessee when Clinton and Gore were still in the White House Seinfeld was the number 1 sitcom GNR's Use Your Illusion I and II were still their last albums and you could board a plane without a reach around. Good times good times indeed.
With 193 000 miles of experience comes some wear and tear but this fine machine is ready to go another 100 000. See the pics to glory in the battle scars of 18 years of high living on America's highways and byways. The passenger side rear fender reflector (pointless anyway) is missing the driver side rear bumper has lost some paint (again useless) and there is a rock chip and crack in the windshield (less pointless but you can squint around it). The passenger side front wheel bearing is getting a little noisy in the cold of winter for the first mile or so but is still tight and makes no noise once the car or weather warms up above freezing. The cloth interior is in great shape all the features knobs buttons and other accoutrements are fully functional. Oh except the indicator bulb that indicates high-beam headlights. That is burned out but the brights still work fine. The car also sports a pretty new set of tires brake pads and brake rotors with less than 15k on them. The rear struts are new and have less than 5k. In 15 years of ownership the only problems have been a bad rear wheel bearing (replaced) and a bad fuel injector (replaced). We average about 33 mpg on the highway and 25 in the city in the summer and a little less in the winter.
Now with all that good news you'd think this car is a steal. And you'd be right but there is more to the story. Back in the 90's this car was totaled hit in the rear the bright future and long life of this fine automobile was almost cut short. Then along came a similarly lovely 1995 Saturn SL2 that was hit in the front and totaled. These two machines were brought together by the able hands welder and wallet of my father-in-law to yield the impressive 94/95 specimen you see before you. He has completed this process on 5 Saturn SL's and each went on to a long and fruitful life of economy style cruising.
So in the past this car had a salvage title although after moving to California and Illinois and then back to Minnesota the title is clean since Illinois does not track salvage. A carfax will most likely find the salvage details though. The car has been a solid performer for about 150 000 miles after the rebuild. There is some rust associated with the mid-body weld after 15 years. This has not impacted the car's ability to tow a 13 foot Boston Whaler with ease though.
As the primary mechanic on the car I have accumulated a number of spare parts and other aids to diagnosing problems. Along with the pictured car you will receive an extra ECM (Electronic Control Module) an extra ignition coil some other misc parts and a Haynes repair manual. Oh and as of today it has a full tank of gas. Bonus.
In summary great car great price.
