hey guys, i finally need to get rid of one of my cars, and since my other car is a wagon and i have more use for it, i decided to sell my 1995 lexus gs300.
this car is a really nice luxury sport sedan fully loaded, it is the touring model. it has power everything, leather, sunroof, tilt wheel, 6disc changer and very nice speaker with a factory 10inch sub in the back.
the car has 208 miles on it, however, it has been rebuilt in april of this year and it runs absolutely PERFECT!! it is very reliable and very powerful because of it's 2jz super motor in it. and it is a lexus and toyota's run forever!!

2008 VW GTI with low miles, one owner and kept in immaculate condition inside and out. United gray metallic color. My wife and I bought this car less than three years ago, and have taken very diligent care of it even since. The car has been strictly maintained according to Volkswagen standards and schedules, and has been garage-kept day and night ever sice we purchased it from the dealer. This is a one of a kind ground up show quality restoration. No bolt or fastener was over looked. Both the body and chassis where completely disassembled, prepped and painted as separate units. All of the undercoating was removed, the door moulding, door handles, door glass frame, windshield wipers and marker lights have been shaved off. The windshield frame has been lowered 6". The license plate has been frenched into the rear lower apron. A one piece tilt front end has been added which is light weight and allows for large 205/60 front tires. It has been lowered front and back. There is no Bondo and no rust on this car.
The 1835cc (69 x 92) motor has less than 1000 miles since assembly. It has Weber DCNF 42 carburetors and new linkage and air filters. This is the largest carburetor made that will fit nicely under the stock engine compartment lid. These carburetors are no longer made and are hard to find. They are very desirable for use with old Porsche's. The case has been bored and clearanced. The heads have been bored for the 92mm cylinders. Cima Pistons, Strocker rods, counter weight crank, Eagle Racing camshaft, balanced pistons and rods, Eepco large valve cylinder heads, large oil sump, balanced & lightened flywheel.
Not taking into account any of my own labor, I have $20,000 USD in receipts for parts and labor so far from companies like Bill & Steve's, Show Kar Specialties, Pete Maich, BCE, Pino's Auto body, NU Way Plating, Valley Enameling, L&M Strippers, Redi Strip, Johnny's Abrasive Finish, E-Z Paint & Body, Glendale Volkswagen, Small Car Specialties, Car Custom, Gardner-Westcott chrome hardware and ISP West to name a few. The motor has not been installed yet. If you are in the Southern CA area you could check with a shop like ISP who specializes in restorations to get an estimate of cost to finish it. I also have a mechanic that could finish all of the mechanical in Fontana, CA. He works from his home shop so his labor rate is reasonable. Cost to finish will be determined largely on how you want it put together. For instance do you want stock seats and interior or custom. I was planning on buying some Recaro seats and doing a custom interior. I even have the special brackets to mount Recaro's to the Notchback which I could include.
As far as what will be needed for the interior goes, you will need carpet, front seats and upholstery. I have the rear seats which have black powder coated frames. They will need to be re-covered along with the center flip down armrest. I have some original door panels with arm rests & Show Kar Specialties front door rests for the front and plain panels for the rear. They will need to be re-covered. I was planning on custom interior but if you wanted stock it may be easier to track down some useable parts in original condition. The dash top will be needed unless you wanted to use the Show Kar Specialties Dash & Center Counsel included with the car which was my plan. The gauges I have were also bought for the Show Kar Specialties Dash & Center Counsel. You could easily put it back to original by finding the stock gauges and some switches. If you wanted an original interior they are readily available through ISP.

I think the first thing is to get the engine installed, the windshield made and installed, the electronic door solenoids installed, headlights & taillights installed, gauges installed and then lastly the interior.
I would say the engine and motor related electrics should cost around $1500 labor if you were to hire someone. That should include inspecting & tuning the carburetors, installing the chrome tin and carburetor linkage, installing the heat exchangers and exhaust system, installing the motor, running the fuel lines, electric hook ups to the fuel pump, generator, battery, regulator, starter etc....
