Engine - Rebuilt head. Timing belt slipped. Only bent 4 valves but I replaced all 16 with brand new Mitsubishi OEM vales didn't bore it out. Rebuilt 2 years ago (expect no leaks runs like factory still).
K&N FIPK ("Fuel Injection Performance Kit" it's just a nice clean big air filter. (You can hear the BOV much better).
Roadrace Engineering intercooler PIPE with new 1st gen BOV (replaces the plastic 'pinched' pipe behind the fuse box).
Ported throttle body (one of my favorite mods I've done to the car. Yes the intake manifold was removed and matched).
Walbro fuel pump stock injectors.
Cat-back 3" (flows under rear cross-member to minimize bend) OEM downpipe and cat.
3" inlet 4.25" outlet exhaust WITH silencer. (You will love putting this in sometimes).
Greddy 18v intercooler (bought from my friend because he upgraded but never got to get it installed.)
Polyurethane engine mounts.
Suspension -
KYB AGX (Adjustables 4 points in the front 8 in the rear).
Eibach Springs
Camber kit (currently set with a slight negative in the rear since it's lighter).
Front upper strut bar.
Stoppers - Cross driled slotted rotors stainless steel brake lines all around.
Front have dual piston calipers with stoptech pads.
Rears have EBC green pads.
THE GOOD:
I have NEVER seen the check engine light. All that babying and pampering has paid off.
ALWAYS passed smog even with mods on. Just drove up and passed no sweat.
ALWAYS started up never hesitated
STOCK turbo AND intercooler. Yes this is a good thing for you.
Always used 91 premium. I am one of the suckers that believe Chevron with Techron makes a difference. On top of that I use ZMAX often. I guess it does make a difference because the engine runs extremely smooth always has.
THE BAD:
It's 99 factory paint and body so 13 years will show. Fading clear coat in places and door dings is what to expect. Paint is amazingly clean still (because I waxed often) but clear coat is fading in some parts.
When it rains it will leak. I put a black plastic across the front seam ghetto I know. (If you're driving it won't leak).
The clutch. I bought a Competition clutch that grips more than the ACT 2600 matched with a sprung 6-puck with the transmission rebuild. It grips too much. Most will like it but personally I don't. I got this setup because I was planning on upgrading the turbo and intercooler but didn't.
99 Eclipse GS-T Spyder (turbo front wheel drive convertible) 154 000 miles.
I used to have a 97 spyder GS (non-turbo) sunk money in that one and finally decided to get the real deal the GS-T (turbo version).
I drove 5 hours to get this black on black leather beauty. She had 75000 miles. She was stock. I am the 2nd owner.
Mods are light and researched before chosen. You are getting an amazing car you won't regret it. Like most modified cars thousands of dollars put in. My loss your gain. I'm just asking blubook to sell fast bills bills bills.
