It's hard to believe that the Mercury Cougar is 30 years old. This former Mustang clone had a platform change in mid-life and is now a Thunderbird clone. And while it was a good car competing against the Mustang it has become a truly elegant car living on the T'bird's platform.
Our tester this week is the 30th Anniversary XR7 which was a shock. It seems as if I was just driving the 25th Anniversary model. And while the 25th Anniversary car had a host of stylistic modifications to it including a specially prepared color the 30th Anniversary version is more subtle. Sure there are still 30th Anniversary growlers on the C-panel and growler logos on the backs of the seats and on the floor mats but the 30th Anniversary Cougar is changed only slightly from the standard car. But still the Cougar is a very nice car.

This is a great muscle car it is the last muscle car made by mercury... Its a 1973 Mercury Cougar XR7... This car functions great Has a 351 cleveland motor new carburetor has been used for less than 100 miles paint job is 1 year old garage kept brand new battery bought on 9/6/2011 free replacement for a year anything after that is pro rated at auto zone no leaks just replaced the gasket on the transmission pan last week has a brand new solenoid voltage regulator and starterswitch that have less than 5 miles of use... It comes with the front emblem which is rare and goes for about 400 on its own also comes with pioneer detachable cd player and remote however no amp... It does not have AC but it does have a working heater... Clear title in my name so evrything will be purchased with a bill of sell and a notary. please email me or text me... I will not answer unknown calls (eight-0-eight) two nine eight - four four one four...
Call # (808) 298 - four four one four... Currently in automotive shop to figure out where battery drain is coming from... Turns out my problem was the alternator not being able to hold a charge. If that is replaced the car will run... This is something I would do myself but I was also informed by the mechanic that the inside of the gas tank is corroded so that would need to be replaced and 1 or two valves might be burnt out but in order to check this the mechanic would need to open the heads of the engine... The labor and parts for this job was quoted nearly $2 000. This is definitely a 5 000 car when fixed if not more especially because the well kept interior and paint job. Im selling for 3 000 to compensate for the extra 2 000 you will need to spend unless your a mechanic yourself. If you wanna purchase the vehicle I can have the mechanic finish the job under your expense or you can take it as is and get it done yourself...

If you are looking to hit the road and want both comfort and luxury then this is your car. It has some minor cosmetic issues on the passenger side door which is nothing major and can hardly be seen in the photos. It has a clean interior all power windows locks seats etc.

This is a great muscle car it is the last muscle car made by mercury... Its a 1973 Mercury Cougar XR7... This car functions great Has a 351 cleveland motor new carburetor has been used for less than 100 miles paint job is 1 year old garage kept brand new battery bought on 9/6/2011 free replacement for a year anything after that is pro rated at auto zone no leaks just replaced the gasket on the transmission pan last week has a brand new solenoid voltage regulator and starterswitch that have less than 5 miles of use... It comes with the front emblem which is rare and goes for about 400 on its own also comes with pioneer detachable cd player and remote however no amp... It does not have AC but it does have a working heater... Clear title in my name so evrything will be purchased with a bill of sell and a notary. please email me or text me... I will not answer unknown calls (eight-0-eight) two nine eight - four four one four...
Call # (808) 298 - four four one four... Currently in automotive shop to figure out where battery drain is coming from... Turns out my problem was the alternator not being able to hold a charge. If that is replaced the car will run... This is something I would do myself but I was also informed by the mechanic that the inside of the gas tank is corroded so that would need to be replaced and 1 or two valves might be burnt out but in order to check this the mechanic would need to open the heads of the engine... The labor and parts for this job was quoted nearly $2 000. This is definitely a 5 000 car when fixed if not more especially because the well kept interior and paint job. Im selling for 3 000 to compensate for the extra 2 000 you will need to spend unless your a mechanic yourself. If you wanna purchase the vehicle I can have the mechanic finish the job under your expense or you can take it as is and get it done yourself...

It is definitely not a porsche BMW Mercedes lotus noble lambo ferarri or any other type of foriegn vehicle or rice rocket type of import Honda civic accord or mitsubishi that you can sup up. In the picture it is parked next to my 1986 silverado offroad which i wish were a 1967 Pontiac GTO which i would trade for... thank you

It's hard to believe that the Mercury Cougar is 30 years old. This former Mustang clone had a platform change in mid-life and is now a Thunderbird clone. And while it was a good car competing against the Mustang it has become a truly elegant car living on the T'bird's platform.
Our tester this week is the 30th Anniversary XR7 which was a shock. It seems as if I was just driving the 25th Anniversary model. And while the 25th Anniversary car had a host of stylistic modifications to it including a specially prepared color the 30th Anniversary version is more subtle. Sure there are still 30th Anniversary growlers on the C-panel and growler logos on the backs of the seats and on the floor mats but the 30th Anniversary Cougar is changed only slightly from the standard car. But still the Cougar is a very nice car.

If you are looking to hit the road and want both comfort and luxury then this is your car. It has some minor cosmetic issues on the passenger side door which is nothing major and can hardly be seen in the photos. It has a clean interior all power windows locks seats etc.

It's hard to believe that the Mercury Cougar is 30 years old. This former Mustang clone had a platform change in mid-life and is now a Thunderbird clone. And while it was a good car competing against the Mustang it has become a truly elegant car living on the T'bird's platform.
Our tester this week is the 30th Anniversary XR7 which was a shock. It seems as if I was just driving the 25th Anniversary model. And while the 25th Anniversary car had a host of stylistic modifications to it including a specially prepared color the 30th Anniversary version is more subtle. Sure there are still 30th Anniversary growlers on the C-panel and growler logos on the backs of the seats and on the floor mats but the 30th Anniversary Cougar is changed only slightly from the standard car. But still the Cougar is a very nice car.

This is a great muscle car it is the last muscle car made by mercury... Its a 1973 Mercury Cougar XR7... This car functions great Has a 351 cleveland motor new carburetor has been used for less than 100 miles paint job is 1 year old garage kept brand new battery bought on 9/6/2011 free replacement for a year anything after that is pro rated at auto zone no leaks just replaced the gasket on the transmission pan last week has a brand new solenoid voltage regulator and starterswitch that have less than 5 miles of use... It comes with the front emblem which is rare and goes for about 400 on its own also comes with pioneer detachable cd player and remote however no amp... It does not have AC but it does have a working heater... Clear title in my name so evrything will be purchased with a bill of sell and a notary. please email me or text me... I will not answer unknown calls (eight-0-eight) two nine eight - four four one four...
Call # (808) 298 - four four one four... Currently in automotive shop to figure out where battery drain is coming from... Turns out my problem was the alternator not being able to hold a charge. If that is replaced the car will run... This is something I would do myself but I was also informed by the mechanic that the inside of the gas tank is corroded so that would need to be replaced and 1 or two valves might be burnt out but in order to check this the mechanic would need to open the heads of the engine... The labor and parts for this job was quoted nearly $2 000. This is definitely a 5 000 car when fixed if not more especially because the well kept interior and paint job. Im selling for 3 000 to compensate for the extra 2 000 you will need to spend unless your a mechanic yourself. If you wanna purchase the vehicle I can have the mechanic finish the job under your expense or you can take it as is and get it done yourself...

If you are looking to hit the road and want both comfort and luxury then this is your car. It has some minor cosmetic issues on the passenger side door which is nothing major and can hardly be seen in the photos. It has a clean interior all power windows locks seats etc.
The Grand Marquis has always been known to run smooth and be durable.....This one is no different! These cars are becoming more and more popular too!

Mercury Cougar XR7 30th Anniversary Edition
1997 Mercury Cougar for sale! Exterior color is Burgundy interior is tan color very clean trunk has plenty of room and in very good condition. Already smog tested couple days a go car running just like new. Need car sold by today. It's hard to believe that the Mercury Cougar is 30 years old. This former Mustang clone had a platform change in mid-life and is now a Thunderbird clone. And while it was a good car competing against the Mustang it has become a truly elegant car living on the T'bird's platform.
Our tester this week is the 30th Anniversary XR7 which was a shock. It seems as if I was just driving the 25th Anniversary model. And while the 25th Anniversary car had a host of stylistic modifications to it including a specially prepared color the 30th Anniversary version is more subtle. Sure there are still 30th Anniversary growlers on the C-panel and growler logos on the backs of the seats and on the floor mats but the 30th Anniversary Cougar is changed only slightly from the standard car. But still the Cougar is a very nice car.

I am selling my one of a kind mild custom 1948 Mercury convertible built in San diego 1989 all the work parts are top of the line nothing was spared to make this a one of a kind. You could not build this car for the price I am selling it for complete frame off restoration chassis modified with four four bar rear end minor tub 9 inch ford coil overs front end has mustang two flaming river power rack hidden master cylinder attached to frame chassis painted same color as car ferrari red german paint.Merc has many body modifications frenched tail lights head lights fender seams welded front end sheet metal moved back six inches top chopped four inches hand made rolled dash vintage heat air gray leather interior with wool tweed inside car is like no one sat in it mercedes black material top stainless steering column. Mercury Cougar XR7 30th Anniversary Edition
1997 Mercury Cougar for sale! Exterior color is Burgundy interior is tan color very clean trunk has plenty of room and in very good condition. It's hard to believe that the Mercury Cougar is 30 years old. This former Mustang clone had a platform change in mid-life and is now a Thunderbird clone. And while it was a good car competing against the Mustang it has become a truly elegant car living on the T'bird's platform.
Our tester this week is the 30th Anniversary XR7 which was a shock. It seems as if I was just driving the 25th Anniversary model. And while the 25th Anniversary car had a host of stylistic modifications to it including a specially prepared color the 30th Anniversary version is more subtle. Sure there are still 30th Anniversary growlers on the C-panel and growler logos on the backs of the seats and on the floor mats but the 30th Anniversary Cougar is changed only slightly from the standard car. But still the Cougar is a very nice car.
