This is a great muscle car it is the last muscle car made by mercury... Its a 1973 Mercury Cougar XR7... This car functions great Has a 351 cleveland motor new carburetor has been used for less than 100 miles paint job is 1 year old garage kept brand new battery bought on 9/6/2011 free replacement for a year anything after that is pro rated at auto zone no leaks just replaced the gasket on the transmission pan last week has a brand new solenoid voltage regulator and starterswitch that have less than 5 miles of use... It comes with the front emblem which is rare and goes for about 400 on its own also comes with pioneer detachable cd player and remote however no amp... It does not have AC but it does have a working heater... Clear title in my name so evrything will be purchased with a bill of sell and a notary. please email me or text me... I will not answer unknown calls (eight-0-eight) two nine eight - four four one four...
Call # (808) 298 - four four one four... Currently in automotive shop to figure out where battery drain is coming from... Turns out my problem was the alternator not being able to hold a charge. If that is replaced the car will run... This is something I would do myself but I was also informed by the mechanic that the inside of the gas tank is corroded so that would need to be replaced and 1 or two valves might be burnt out but in order to check this the mechanic would need to open the heads of the engine... The labor and parts for this job was quoted nearly $2 000. This is definitely a 5 000 car when fixed if not more especially because the well kept interior and paint job. Im selling for 3 000 to compensate for the extra 2 000 you will need to spend unless your a mechanic yourself. If you wanna purchase the vehicle I can have the mechanic finish the job under your expense or you can take it as is and get it done yourself...

Hello!.....I am offering 'for sale' the 1962 Rambler Classic Cross-Country Wagon that I have owned since November 1991. It was bought new at Mahoney Motors Rambler Dealer in Lancaster California by a man named 'Otto Gear' who lived in nearby Littlerock Ca. I am the second registered owner. I found it 'dead' in a field outside of Littlerock in pretty good physical condition body wise and complete but not running. I initially restored it mechanically to original condition but was not happy with the performance. Originally 6-cylinder three-speed manual with overdrive it was not 'fun'. I happened upon a 1978 Buick Skylark with a terrible body but a GREAT low-mileage 3.8 V-6 engine TH350 trans and 10-bolt rear end. So I took both to a professional well-known Custom/Hot Rod Builder-Fabricator in Palmdale Ca. who did a fine job of building-in the entire Buick drivetrain into the 'ol Rambler.....and does it ever Ramble! One might think this is the IDEAL set-up for this car....I DO! Not a 'burn-rubber' kind of performance but rather like a smooth reliable easy-handling and quite adequately powerful performance with a nice V-6 sound through Dual Turbo Mufflers. And economical too....I have calculated a fairly consistant 20 MPG. Did I mention HANDLING?...Yeah on the freeway it really keeps up with any other traffic NO PROBLEM!....And on the curves it really tracks nice due to the engine being lower and back from where the old six was mounted. Does it sound like I LOVE the car?....I DO! But things being what they are in my life I need to do something else. SOOO.....As for interior I took a cue from the original factory steering wheel that has red-colored sections on it and had the seats reupholstered in a nice red fabric as well as new red carpeting from front to back. Also red vinyl on the arm rests and visors. The door panels and headliner are original and in excellent shape. Also installed a nice AM/FM Stereo/Cassette player. .....Ahhh yes....PAINT! No I never got around to having it painted.....I had the small amount of body work done so essentially it's ready to paint other than the usual prep work....This is a very solid original body condition....no RUST other than the minor California surface 'sand-off'' rust. The photos tell the story. I also have some extra original parts such as a 'Rambler' script front floor mat original bell housing and other mechanical parts four new 'Texaco Label' oil filters that I have to sell separately.....I have posted in the 'parts' column. This is a great muscle car it is the last muscle car made by mercury... Its a 1973 Mercury Cougar XR7... This car functions great Has a 351 cleveland motor new carburetor has been used for less than 100 miles paint job is 1 year old garage kept brand new battery bought on 9/6/2011 free replacement for a year anything after that is pro rated at auto zone no leaks just replaced the gasket on the transmission pan last week has a brand new solenoid voltage regulator and starterswitch that have less than 5 miles of use... It comes with the front emblem which is rare and goes for about 400 on its own also comes with pioneer detachable cd player and remote however no amp... It does not have AC but it does have a working heater... Clear title in my name so evrything will be purchased with a bill of sell and a notary. please email me or text me... I will not answer unknown calls (eight-0-eight) two nine eight - four four one four...
Call # (808) 298 - four four one four... Currently in automotive shop to figure out where battery drain is coming from... Turns out my problem was the alternator not being able to hold a charge. If that is replaced the car will run... This is something I would do myself but I was also informed by the mechanic that the inside of the gas tank is corroded so that would need to be replaced and 1 or two valves might be burnt out but in order to check this the mechanic would need to open the heads of the engine... The labor and parts for this job was quoted nearly $2 000. This is definitely a 5 000 car when fixed if not more especially because the well kept interior and paint job. Im selling for 3 000 to compensate for the extra 2 000 you will need to spend unless your a mechanic yourself. If you wanna purchase the vehicle I can have the mechanic finish the job under your expense or you can take it as is and get it done yourself...

Hello!.....I am offering 'for sale' the 1962 Rambler Classic Cross-Country Wagon that I have owned since November 1991. It was bought new at Mahoney Motors Rambler Dealer in Lancaster California by a man named 'Otto Gear' who lived in nearby Littlerock Ca. I am the second registered owner. I found it 'dead' in a field outside of Littlerock in pretty good physical condition body wise and complete but not running. I initially restored it mechanically to original condition but was not happy with the performance. Originally 6-cylinder three-speed manual with overdrive it was not 'fun'. I happened upon a 1978 Buick Skylark with a terrible body but a GREAT low-mileage 3.8 V-6 engine TH350 trans and 10-bolt rear end. So I took both to a professional well-known Custom/Hot Rod Builder-Fabricator in Palmdale Ca. who did a fine job of building-in the entire Buick drivetrain into the 'ol Rambler.....and does it ever Ramble! One might think this is the IDEAL set-up for this car....I DO! Not a 'burn-rubber' kind of performance but rather like a smooth reliable easy-handling and quite adequately powerful performance with a nice V-6 sound through Dual Turbo Mufflers. And economical too....I have calculated a fairly consistant 20 MPG. Did I mention HANDLING?...Yeah on the freeway it really keeps up with any other traffic NO PROBLEM!....And on the curves it really tracks nice due to the engine being lower and back from where the old six was mounted. Does it sound like I LOVE the car?....I DO! But things being what they are in my life I need to do something else. SOOO.....As for interior I took a cue from the original factory steering wheel that has red-colored sections on it and had the seats reupholstered in a nice red fabric as well as new red carpeting from front to back. Also red vinyl on the arm rests and visors. The door panels and headliner are original and in excellent shape. Also installed a nice AM/FM Stereo/Cassette player. .....Ahhh yes....PAINT! No I never got around to having it painted.....I had the small amount of body work done so essentially it's ready to paint other than the usual prep work....This is a very solid original body condition....no RUST other than the minor California surface 'sand-off'' rust. The photos tell the story. I also have some extra original parts such as a 'Rambler' script front floor mat original bell housing and other mechanical parts four new 'Texaco Label' oil filters that I have to sell separately.....I have posted in the 'parts' column. This is a great muscle car it is the last muscle car made by mercury... Its a 1973 Mercury Cougar XR7... This car functions great Has a 351 cleveland motor new carburetor has been used for less than 100 miles paint job is 1 year old garage kept brand new battery bought on 9/6/2011 free replacement for a year anything after that is pro rated at auto zone no leaks just replaced the gasket on the transmission pan last week has a brand new solenoid voltage regulator and starterswitch that have less than 5 miles of use... It comes with the front emblem which is rare and goes for about 400 on its own also comes with pioneer detachable cd player and remote however no amp... It does not have AC but it does have a working heater... Clear title in my name so evrything will be purchased with a bill of sell and a notary. please email me or text me... I will not answer unknown calls (eight-0-eight) two nine eight - four four one four...

If that is replaced the car will run... This is something I would do myself but I was also informed by the mechanic that the inside of the gas tank is corroded so that would need to be replaced and 1 or two valves might be burnt out but in order to check this the mechanic would need to open the heads of the engine... The labor and parts for this job was quoted nearly $2 000. This is definitely a 5 000 car when fixed if not more especially because the well kept interior and paint job. Im selling for 3 000 to compensate for the extra 2 000 you will need to spend unless your a mechanic yourself. If you wanna purchase the vehicle I can have the mechanic finish the job under your expense or you can take it as is and get it done yourself...

Hello!.....I am offering 'for sale' the 1962 Rambler Classic Cross-Country Wagon that I have owned since November 1991. It was bought new at Mahoney Motors Rambler Dealer in Lancaster California by a man named 'Otto Gear' who lived in nearby Littlerock Ca. I am the second registered owner. I found it 'dead' in a field outside of Littlerock in pretty good physical condition body wise and complete but not running. I initially restored it mechanically to original condition but was not happy with the performance. Originally 6-cylinder three-speed manual with overdrive it was not 'fun'. I happened upon a 1978 Buick Skylark with a terrible body but a GREAT low-mileage 3.8 V-6 engine TH350 trans and 10-bolt rear end. So I took both to a professional well-known Custom/Hot Rod Builder-Fabricator in Palmdale Ca. who did a fine job of building-in the entire Buick drivetrain into the 'ol Rambler.....and does it ever Ramble! One might think this is the IDEAL set-up for this car....I DO! Not a 'burn-rubber' kind of performance but rather like a smooth reliable easy-handling and quite adequately powerful performance with a nice V-6 sound through Dual Turbo Mufflers. And economical too....I have calculated a fairly consistant 20 MPG. Did I mention HANDLING?...Yeah on the freeway it really keeps up with any other traffic NO PROBLEM!....And on the curves it really tracks nice due to the engine being lower and back from where the old six was mounted. Does it sound like I LOVE the car?....I DO! But things being what they are in my life I need to do something else. SOOO.....As for interior I took a cue from the original factory steering wheel that has red-colored sections on it and had the seats reupholstered in a nice red fabric as well as new red carpeting from front to back. Also red vinyl on the arm rests and visors. The door panels and headliner are original and in excellent shape. Also installed a nice AM/FM Stereo/Cassette player. .....Ahhh yes....PAINT! No I never got around to having it painted.....I had the small amount of body work done so essentially it's ready to paint other than the usual prep work....This is a very solid original body condition....no RUST other than the minor California surface 'sand-off'' rust. The photos tell the story. I also have some extra original parts such as a 'Rambler' script front floor mat original bell housing and other mechanical parts four new 'Texaco Label' oil filters that I have to sell separately.....I have posted in the 'parts' column. Hello!.....I am offering 'for sale' the 1962 Rambler Classic Cross-Country Wagon that I have owned since November 1991. It was bought new at Mahoney Motors Rambler Dealer in Lancaster California by a man named 'Otto Gear' who lived in nearby Littlerock Ca. I am the second registered owner. I found it 'dead' in a field outside of Littlerock in pretty good physical condition body wise and complete but not running. I initially restored it mechanically to original condition but was not happy with the performance. Originally 6-cylinder three-speed manual with overdrive it was not 'fun'. I happened upon a 1978 Buick Skylark with a terrible body but a GREAT low-mileage 3.8 V-6 engine TH350 trans and 10-bolt rear end. So I took both to a professional well-known Custom/Hot Rod Builder-Fabricator in Palmdale Ca. who did a fine job of building-in the entire Buick drivetrain into the 'ol Rambler.....and does it ever Ramble! One might think this is the IDEAL set-up for this car....I DO! Not a 'burn-rubber' kind of performance but rather like a smooth reliable easy-handling and quite adequately powerful performance with a nice V-6 sound through Dual Turbo Mufflers. And economical too....I have calculated a fairly consistant 20 MPG. Did I mention HANDLING?...Yeah on the freeway it really keeps up with any other traffic NO PROBLEM!....And on the curves it really tracks nice due to the engine being lower and back from where the old six was mounted. Does it sound like I LOVE the car?....I DO! But things being what they are in my life I need to do something else. SOOO.....As for interior I took a cue from the original factory steering wheel that has red-colored sections on it and had the seats reupholstered in a nice red fabric as well as new red carpeting from front to back. Also red vinyl on the arm rests and visors. The door panels and headliner are original and in excellent shape. Also installed a nice AM/FM Stereo/Cassette player. .....Ahhh yes....PAINT! No I never got around to having it painted.....I had the small amount of body work done so essentially it's ready to paint other than the usual prep work....This is a very solid original body condition....no RUST other than the minor California surface 'sand-off'' rust. The photos tell the story. I also have some extra original parts such as a 'Rambler' script front floor mat original bell housing and other mechanical parts four new 'Texaco Label' oil filters that I have to sell separately.....I have posted in the 'parts' column. This is a great muscle car it is the last muscle car made by mercury... Its a 1973 Mercury Cougar XR7... This car functions great Has a 351 cleveland motor new carburetor has been used for less than 100 miles paint job is 1 year old garage kept brand new battery bought on 9/6/2011 free replacement for a year anything after that is pro rated at auto zone no leaks just replaced the gasket on the transmission pan last week has a brand new solenoid voltage regulator and starterswitch that have less than 5 miles of use... It comes with the front emblem which is rare and goes for about 400 on its own also comes with pioneer detachable cd player and remote however no amp... It does not have AC but it does have a working heater... Clear title in my name so evrything will be purchased with a bill of sell and a notary. please email me or text me... I will not answer unknown calls (eight-0-eight) two nine eight - four four one four...
Call # (808) 298 - four four one four... Currently in automotive shop to figure out where battery drain is coming from... Turns out my problem was the alternator not being able to hold a charge. If that is replaced the car will run... This is something I would do myself but I was also informed by the mechanic that the inside of the gas tank is corroded so that would need to be replaced and 1 or two valves might be burnt out but in order to check this the mechanic would need to open the heads of the engine... The labor and parts for this job was quoted nearly $2 000. This is definitely a 5 000 car when fixed if not more especially because the well kept interior and paint job. Im selling for 3 000 to compensate for the extra 2 000 you will need to spend unless your a mechanic yourself. If you wanna purchase the vehicle I can have the mechanic finish the job under your expense or you can take it as is and get it done yourself...

This is a great muscle car it is the last muscle car made by mercury... Its a 1973 Mercury Cougar XR7... This car functions great Has a 351 cleveland motor new carburetor has been used for less than 100 miles paint job is 1 year old garage kept brand new battery bought on 9/6/2011 free replacement for a year anything after that is pro rated at auto zone no leaks just replaced the gasket on the transmission pan last week has a brand new solenoid voltage regulator and starterswitch that have less than 5 miles of use... It comes with the front emblem which is rare and goes for about 400 on its own also comes with pioneer detachable cd player and remote however no amp... It does not have AC but it does have a working heater... Clear title in my name so evrything will be purchased with a bill of sell and a notary. please email me or text me... I will not answer unknown calls (eight-0-eight) two nine eight - four four one four...
Call # (808) 298 - four four one four... Currently in automotive shop to figure out where battery drain is coming from... Turns out my problem was the alternator not being able to hold a charge. If that is replaced the car will run... This is something I would do myself but I was also informed by the mechanic that the inside of the gas tank is corroded so that would need to be replaced and 1 or two valves might be burnt out but in order to check this the mechanic would need to open the heads of the engine... The labor and parts for this job was quoted nearly $2 000. This is definitely a 5 000 car when fixed if not more especially because the well kept interior and paint job. Im selling for 3 000 to compensate for the extra 2 000 you will need to spend unless your a mechanic yourself. If you wanna purchase the vehicle I can have the mechanic finish the job under your expense or you can take it as is and get it done yourself...

Hello!.....I am offering 'for sale' the 1962 Rambler Classic Cross-Country Wagon that I have owned since November 1991. It was bought new at Mahoney Motors Rambler Dealer in Lancaster California by a man named 'Otto Gear' who lived in nearby Littlerock Ca. I am the second registered owner. I found it 'dead' in a field outside of Littlerock in pretty good physical condition body wise and complete but not running. I initially restored it mechanically to original condition but was not happy with the performance. Originally 6-cylinder three-speed manual with overdrive it was not 'fun'. I happened upon a 1978 Buick Skylark with a terrible body but a GREAT low-mileage 3.8 V-6 engine TH350 trans and 10-bolt rear end. So I took both to a professional well-known Custom/Hot Rod Builder-Fabricator in Palmdale Ca. who did a fine job of building-in the entire Buick drivetrain into the 'ol Rambler.....and does it ever Ramble! One might think this is the IDEAL set-up for this car....I DO! Not a 'burn-rubber' kind of performance but rather like a smooth reliable easy-handling and quite adequately powerful performance with a nice V-6 sound through Dual Turbo Mufflers. And economical too....I have calculated a fairly consistant 20 MPG. Did I mention HANDLING?...Yeah on the freeway it really keeps up with any other traffic NO PROBLEM!....And on the curves it really tracks nice due to the engine being lower and back from where the old six was mounted. Does it sound like I LOVE the car?....I DO! But things being what they are in my life I need to do something else. SOOO.....As for interior I took a cue from the original factory steering wheel that has red-colored sections on it and had the seats reupholstered in a nice red fabric as well as new red carpeting from front to back. Also red vinyl on the arm rests and visors. The door panels and headliner are original and in excellent shape. Also installed a nice AM/FM Stereo/Cassette player. .....Ahhh yes....PAINT! No I never got around to having it painted.....I had the small amount of body work done so essentially it's ready to paint other than the usual prep work....This is a very solid original body condition....no RUST other than the minor California surface 'sand-off'' rust. The photos tell the story. I also have some extra original parts such as a 'Rambler' script front floor mat original bell housing and other mechanical parts four new 'Texaco Label' oil filters that I have to sell separately.....I have posted in the 'parts' column. No I never got around to having it painted.....I had the small amount of body work done so essentially it's ready to paint other than the usual prep work....This is a very solid original body condition....no RUST other than the minor California surface 'sand-off'' rust.
