I am selling my late grandparent's 1977 Mercury Marquis. Grandpa bought the car new and it was driven until they could no longer drive back in the early to mid 90s. From that point it was garaged and driven monthly by my uncle to keep it operational. It still sports the original Texas plates and includes the original owner's manual and factory invoice. The car has a 400 cu. in. V8 with 86 7xx original miles C-6 transmission 2V carb. A/C and cruise control. All systems are fully functional with the exception of the A/C which has been professionally converted to the R-134A system and works but has a leak. I know this for a fact because I had a charge done before leaving Texas with the car and it cooled for about a month before losing its charge. The exterior is Dove Grey and is in good condition with some minor scratches and dents. The Vinyl top is in very good condition with the exception of a small tear and a couple of dry spots on the base of the trunk/window area. The interior is immaculate with almost no noticeable wear. Prior to and since taking ownership of the car either my uncle or I have performed the following: New tires new ignition module new alternator and voltage regulator new distributor rotor and cap new fuel filter new EGR valve new batt. new spark plug wires new fuel pump new shocks new master cylinder and power booster front brakes and wheel bearings and regular oil and filter changes.

2002 Mercury Cougar for sale! Runs Great Custom Body Work Sound System Viper Alarm. This Cougar is an amazing car and the only reason we're selling it is because we don't need it anymore. In our time owning the car we have replaced practically all of the major parts of the engine.
