Up for sale is an amazing jaguar that I have spent the last five years and countless thousands of dollars on. The car is a 1988 jaguar XJ6 Van den Plas. It has every factory option. Heated power seats heated power mirrors heated door handles humidity control sunroof fold out tables in the rear real wood trim (not plastic look alike) the list of factory options goes on and on. This is probably the best car you could buy in 1988 original sale price was over $68 000 (says it right on the title)
This car has been very meticulously customized and upgraded. I am the 3rd owner and have had the car from 80k to the current 130k. My plan is to do a LT1 corvette conversion on the car but may consider doing something else; as I am not sure I want to spend another 10k on this car.
The engine is a 3.6l and is as big as a train! This monster holds 9 quarts of oil (synthetic of course) and runs smooth as day 1. NGK plugs 10mm wires performance cap coil and rotor ported air box NO OTHER MOTOR ALTERATIONS. All replacement parts have been jaguar brand no AutoZone junk ANYWHERE on this car. Tranny is also synthetic equipped and shifts smooth as glass. Rear diff has also recently been serviced and converted to synthetic oil as well. Motor is clean enough to eat off of and has lots of chrome and shine.
The headlights AND brights have been converted from sealed beam to double thick CRYSTAL housings with real HID 8000k bulbs and ballasts. They also have chrome eyebrows on all 4 lights.
Taillights are custom built with brand new smoked (jaguar brand) lenses and high output bulbs.
Wheels are Coventry brand specially made for jaguars. 18". Rears are 275/35/18 and fronts are 255/40/18. There is a fifth (spare tire) that matches and has never been mounted in the trunk. Wheels have Coventry's jaguar center caps and jaguar valve stem covers (these were 20 bucks each!)
Brakes have been upgraded to BREMBO vented and cross drilled rotors on all four corners with ceramic BENDIX pads.
Car has been tastefully lowered ¾" and the rear quarter panels have been rolled to allow rear tire clearance tires DO NOT rub. Air ride suspension has been removed and XJS coil over shocks have been installed in place.
Has European bumper conversions and front has euro spoiler/diffuser fog lights have been removed because no crystal housings are available.
NOW FOR THE INTERRIOR
Interior is in very good condition with only minor rub marks on driver's seat
.
All added electrical components are "stand alone" NOTHING HAS BEEN HACKED INTO THIS CARS FACTORY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM additional fused circuits have been added for EVERY electrical component I had installed. These cars have touchy electrical systems and came with terrible audio
The sound system in this car IS NOT A HUGE BOOM BOX however is does pack a punch if that's what you're looking for. The head unit is Pioneer Premier DEH-P880prs Digital sound processor iPod control Bluetooth capabilities and SIRIUS radio. It has 7 amplified channels from 2 KICKER brand amplifiers DEI 2 fared power cap very high end kicker RS4 and RS5 (component sets in front AND rear doors)midrange speakers 10" square Kicker L5 DVC in custom sealed enclosure. All of the rear end is dynomatted; this equipment produces amazing quality sound! Hear every instrument every voice octave and even every recording imperfection. All installation components are of the highest quality.
Has VIPER 5900 (one of the top of the line alarms available anywhere) remote start remote window control 2 way LCD key fob will notify you if car is being tampered with up to one mile away vehicle tracking capabilities 6 shock sensors trunk and hood pin monitoring ect.
There are a lot of details still left to discuss call or text me to make arrangements to see or drive the car. CAR WILL NOT BE DRIVEN/TEST DRIVEN IN POOR WEATHER this car stays in the garage under a car cover. It has seen very little snow/ rain.
THE BAD
Just started to Leak power steering fluid easy fix just had not done it yet
Brake booster system is N/F- brakes are manual but stop great thanks to the brembos. A new (conventional) booster system is available thru the company that makes the LT1 conversion and I was going to address these things during the conversion.
This car does have hail damage or I would be asking much more for it Damage is in all photos and is hard to see. I have a new trunk and hood to fix this but they are not yet the same color. All extra parts come with the car extra set of 5 factory wheels and tires factory repair manual and a few other odds and inns.
Asking $5800. Price can be negotiated but I do not need to sell and am not really sure if I should. I will consider trading up +$ or down -$ or straight across. I am interested in other projects and vehicles but NO CRAP!! I like the following Nice ski boat 5.0 mustang or older hot rods 4x4 jeep beasts (or other good 4x4 brands) other classic / luxury cars> Mercedes Benz Bentley rolls Royce jaguars Porsche etc. muscle car built hot rods other customs 4 door truck or ???
If you want to look like you drive a 50k luxury car but don't have the cash you should come see this.

This vehicle has been kept in a temperature controlled building at the Cherry Creek Polo Grounds since it was purchased brand new by my aunt and uncle. Originally sold and ALWAYS serviced at Stevenson Jaguar no one else has ever touched the car. Service records are available.
As seen in the pictures mileage is 7488 as of 1/31/2012.
The vehicle is PERFECT in every way. Brand New Michelin Primacy all season tires put on 50 miles ago. Factory optioned Chrome Jaguar wheels. Immaculate Blue Paint and even more immaculate cream leather interior.
My wife prefers an SUV so we feel that the Jaguar would be more suited for someone who will drive and appreciate how smooth and quiet and fabulous this car drives. Consumer reports picks this as one of the best Jaguar's ever made in regards to reliability and quality.
There is a pink 2003 Jaguar XJ8 on ebay with 12 000 miles for $40 000. Yes Pink. As you can see below the blue paint on our Jaguar is much more attractive and our's has much less mileage. Asking $40 000 or best offer. The window sticker on this car was $80 000!!!

Everything works perfectly on the car It was originally sold for $120 000 (I still have the window sticker). The portfolio is a limited production of 145. They are fully loaded with special soft all leather (no blends like on other Jaguars) interior special sound proofing for a even more quieter ride stunning black cherry metallic paint brutally fast 400HP. The only flaws on this car are the 2 front door wood paneling is cracked and some scratches on front wheels after changing tires. I am currently in the process of repairing the door panels which are due to be finished Feb 05 2012. this is a truly beautiful vehicle price below market value. Act now you will not regret it!

Up for sale is an amazing jaguar that I have spent the last five years and countless thousands of dollars on. The car is a 1988 jaguar XJ6 Van den Plas. It has every factory option. Heated power seats heated power mirrors heated door handles humidity control sunroof fold out tables in the rear real wood trim (not plastic look alike) the list of factory options goes on and on. This is probably the best car you could buy in 1988 original sale price was over $68 000 (says it right on the title)
This car has been very meticulously customized and upgraded. I am the 3rd owner and have had the car from 80k to the current 130k. My plan is to do a LT1 corvette conversion on the car but may consider doing something else; as I am not sure I want to spend another 10k on this car.
The engine is a 3.6l and is as big as a train! This monster holds 9 quarts of oil (synthetic of course) and runs smooth as day 1. NGK plugs 10mm wires performance cap coil and rotor ported air box NO OTHER MOTOR ALTERATIONS. All replacement parts have been jaguar brand no AutoZone junk ANYWHERE on this car. Tranny is also synthetic equipped and shifts smooth as glass. Rear diff has also recently been serviced and converted to synthetic oil as well. Motor is clean enough to eat off of and has lots of chrome and shine.
The headlights AND brights have been converted from sealed beam to double thick CRYSTAL housings with real HID 8000k bulbs and ballasts. They also have chrome eyebrows on all 4 lights.
Taillights are custom built with brand new smoked (jaguar brand) lenses and high output bulbs.
Wheels are Coventry brand specially made for jaguars. 18". Rears are 275/35/18 and fronts are 255/40/18. There is a fifth (spare tire) that matches and has never been mounted in the trunk. Wheels have Coventry's jaguar center caps and jaguar valve stem covers (these were 20 bucks each!)
Brakes have been upgraded to BREMBO vented and cross drilled rotors on all four corners with ceramic BENDIX pads.
Car has been tastefully lowered ¾" and the rear quarter panels have been rolled to allow rear tire clearance tires DO NOT rub. Air ride suspension has been removed and XJS coil over shocks have been installed in place.
Has European bumper conversions and front has euro spoiler/diffuser fog lights have been removed because no crystal housings are available.
NOW FOR THE INTERRIOR
Interior is in very good condition with only minor rub marks on driver's seat

All added electrical components are "stand alone" NOTHING HAS BEEN HACKED INTO THIS CARS FACTORY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM additional fused circuits have been added for EVERY electrical component I had installed. These cars have touchy electrical systems and came with terrible audio
The sound system in this car IS NOT A HUGE BOOM BOX however is does pack a punch if that's what you're looking for. The head unit is Pioneer Premier DEH-P880prs Digital sound processor iPod control Bluetooth capabilities and SIRIUS radio. It has 7 amplified channels from 2 KICKER brand amplifiers DEI 2 fared power cap very high end kicker RS4 and RS5 (component sets in front AND rear doors)midrange speakers 10" square Kicker L5 DVC in custom sealed enclosure. All of the rear end is dynomatted; this equipment produces amazing quality sound! Hear every instrument every voice octave and even every recording imperfection. All installation components are of the highest quality.
Has VIPER 5900 (one of the top of the line alarms available anywhere) remote start remote window control 2 way LCD key fob will notify you if car is being tampered with up to one mile away vehicle tracking capabilities 6 shock sensors trunk and hood pin monitoring ect.
There are a lot of details still left to discuss call or text me to make arrangements to see or drive the car. CAR WILL NOT BE DRIVEN/TEST DRIVEN IN POOR WEATHER this car stays in the garage under a car cover. It has seen very little snow/ rain.

Just started to Leak power steering fluid easy fix just had not done it yet
Brake booster system is N/F- brakes are manual but stop great thanks to the brembos. A new (conventional) booster system is available thru the company that makes the LT1 conversion and I was going to address these things during the conversion.
This car does have hail damage or I would be asking much more for it Damage is in all photos and is hard to see. I have a new trunk and hood to fix this but they are not yet the same color. All extra parts come with the car extra set of 5 factory wheels and tires factory repair manual and a few other odds and inns.
Asking $5800. Price can be negotiated but I do not need to sell and am not really sure if I should. I will consider trading up +$ or down -$ or straight across. I am interested in other projects and vehicles but NO CRAP!! Everything works perfectly on the car It was originally sold for $120 000 (I still have the window sticker). The portfolio is a limited production of 145. They are fully loaded with special soft all leather (no blends like on other Jaguars) interior special sound proofing for a even more quieter ride stunning black cherry metallic paint brutally fast 400HP. The only flaws on this car are the 2 front door wood paneling is cracked and some scratches on front wheels after changing tires. This vehicle has been kept in a temperature controlled building at the Cherry Creek Polo Grounds since it was purchased brand new by my aunt and uncle. Originally sold and ALWAYS serviced at Stevenson Jaguar no one else has ever touched the car. Service records are available.
As seen in the pictures mileage is 7488 as of 1/31/2012.
The vehicle is PERFECT in every way. Brand New Michelin Primacy all season tires put on 50 miles ago. Factory optioned Chrome Jaguar wheels. Immaculate Blue Paint and even more immaculate cream leather interior.
My wife prefers an SUV so we feel that the Jaguar would be more suited for someone who will drive and appreciate how smooth and quiet and fabulous this car drives. Consumer reports picks this as one of the best Jaguar's ever made in regards to reliability and quality.
There is a pink 2003 Jaguar XJ8 on ebay with 12 000 miles for $40 000. Yes Pink. As you can see below the blue paint on our Jaguar is much more attractive and our's has much less mileage. Asking $40 000 or best offer. The window sticker on this car was $80 000!!!

Everything works perfectly on the car It was originally sold for $120 000 (I still have the window sticker). The portfolio is a limited production of 145. They are fully loaded with special soft all leather (no blends like on other Jaguars) interior special sound proofing for a even more quieter ride stunning black cherry metallic paint brutally fast 400HP. The only flaws on this car are the 2 front door wood paneling is cracked and some scratches on front wheels after changing tires. I have a beautiful 2004 Jaguar S type 4 dr sedan completely loaded leather interior sun roof power everything. Pirelli tires with less than 1000 miles. All original equipment. Low miles of 71 000. We bought the car brand new from Park Place Jaguar in Plano TX in 2004. It has been garage kept and pampered ever since. You can see by the photos that it is in great shape. This vehicle has been kept in a temperature controlled building at the Cherry Creek Polo Grounds since it was purchased brand new by my aunt and uncle. Originally sold and ALWAYS serviced at Stevenson Jaguar no one else has ever touched the car. Service records are available.
As seen in the pictures mileage is 7488 as of 1/31/2012.
The vehicle is PERFECT in every way. Brand New Michelin Primacy all season tires put on 50 miles ago. Factory optioned Chrome Jaguar wheels. Immaculate Blue Paint and even more immaculate cream leather interior.
My wife prefers an SUV so we feel that the Jaguar would be more suited for someone who will drive and appreciate how smooth and quiet and fabulous this car drives. Consumer reports picks this as one of the best Jaguar's ever made in regards to reliability and quality.
There is a pink 2003 Jaguar XJ8 on ebay with 12 000 miles for $40 000. Yes Pink. As you can see below the blue paint on our Jaguar is much more attractive and our's has much less mileage. Asking $40 000 or best offer. The window sticker on this car was $80 000!!!

Everything works perfectly on the car It was originally sold for $120 000 (I still have the window sticker). The portfolio is a limited production of 145. They are fully loaded with special soft all leather (no blends like on other Jaguars) interior special sound proofing for a even more quieter ride stunning black cherry metallic paint brutally fast 400HP. The only flaws on this car are the 2 front door wood paneling is cracked and some scratches on front wheels after changing tires. I have a beautiful 2004 Jaguar S type 4 dr sedan completely loaded leather interior sun roof power everything. Pirelli tires with less than 1000 miles. All original equipment. Low miles of 71 000. We bought the car brand new from Park Place Jaguar in Plano TX in 2004. It has been garage kept and pampered ever since. You can see by the photos that it is in great shape. Everything works perfectly on the car It was originally sold for $120 000 (I still have the window sticker). The portfolio is a limited production of 145. They are fully loaded with special soft all leather (no blends like on other Jaguars) interior special sound proofing for a even more quieter ride stunning black cherry metallic paint brutally fast 400HP. The only flaws on this car are the 2 front door wood paneling is cracked and some scratches on front wheels after changing tires. I am currently in the process of repairing the door panels which are due to be finished Feb 05 2012. this is a truly beautiful vehicle price below market value. Act now you will not regret it!
