Up for sale is a 1990 Honda Accord with about 168,000 miles on the body and an engine with unknown miles, believed to be under 100,000. I have owned this car for 6 years and I am the third owner. I have put very few miles on the car in total, but every one of them were a blast. I love these year model cars for their comfort, good power, great gas mileage and ease of handling. I love them so much, I bought two of them.

The interior of the car is loveworn, but there are no tears in any of the seats and there aren't any obvious blemishes. The floor on the driver side is worn, but that's nothing a floor mat can't fix. The suspension was recently worked over, with fairly fresh shocks in the front (less than 5000 miles) and that was a great improvement to handling, as if it needed it. The brakes should be in decent shape, the rear drums are true, the shoes will need replacing in the next few thousand miles, but the front rotors were recently machined and have a lot of life left in them. I don't know about the front pads, though, but none of them are to the 'squealers.' The master cylinder had begun to fail, and so was replaced with a modern unit, and the brakes are almost as good as when the car rolled off the assembly line (some better quality front brake pads will do wonders for this car). The spark plugs were recently replaced also with very nice NGK plugs. The exhaust system was removed for diagnosis, and were left off overnight for someone to steal. They did. A-holes.

The car seems to run just fine, but it had recently developed a strange idle problem. Left in neutral, the idle surges from 800 RPM to nearly 3,000, then back down to 800, over and over again. It's definitely hunting for a good idle speed, but it seems that it thinks the idle is always too low until it hits 3 grand, and then decides that is way too high, and cuts throttle again. This will happen over and over and doesn't seem to stop, though it does get a little better when the car warms up (could just be my imagination?). When you put the car into drive, the car still obviously thinks the idle is too low and tries to surge up, but can't, because you don't want the car to accelerate off by itself, so holding the brakes down prevent the car from moving, and therefore prevents the RPM's from climbing. (maybe I should ask Toyota about this!) The end result is much like holding the brake and the accelerator down at the same time.

My gut tells me this is an electronic components fault, but I'm no expert. As such, I'm just a college student, and I need reliable transportation to and from school and work. I wish I had the time and knowledge to fix this car, as it's been my baby since before high school, and I'd much rather keep it, as it's been trouble free until now. But I have a newer model (with armrests and a radio!) that needs minor repairs itself in order to run, and I decided that I would sell one to fix the other. Of course, I'm willing to make a good deal on either of them or both of them. The other car has minor body damage from a side impact, and besides looking ugly, doesn't affect the seal of the doors, nor their operation. The car simply needs a head gasket replacement, and I have the kit, just not the money to get the work done on the car. It runs fantastic, but burns coolant. Though it has just over 200,000 miles, these cars are known to get 350,000 reliably with loving drivers (and I love these cars) and it runs great despite it's faults, so I see no reason why it wouldn't get there with the old gasket replaced. We can negotiate a good deal, if you want one car over the other, or both.

The car for sale in this ad is 'mostly' white with a black front left quarter and a condition I call a 'nosebleed', which is essentially rock-chipping on the very front of the hood where it's just a bit rusty. Very easily fixed with a wal mart kit in the automotive section, but I always thought I'd be stripping down and painting the car like it deserves, but 'College Student' really says it all. I have the title, clean and clear in my name, with good Registration stickers on both of them. The car for sale even has current Inspection for a few months, but I think it'd be safer to tow the vehicles, which I can help arrange. If the right price is agreed upon, I can even take care of the towing.

1996 Ford F150 Regular cab automatic transmission 4WD.

I bought this truck about 1 year ago to use for hunting. Turns out my kids like to hunt too, so I need something with a back seat. The truck has several thousand in refreshments and upgrades. Professionaly rebuilt 4.9 I-6 engine has about 20k on it, and I usualy get about 18 mpg. city and 22 mpg hwy. Rough Country 6" lift and shocks have less than 10k. I had the spray on bed liner and off road lights installed soon after I got it. Most of the sensors are new. Custom captains seats, with ample storage in center console. Pioneer head unit. 31" off road tires still have a long, happy life ahead of them. There is a camper shell that could use some work included (not pictured). I don't think that the FX4 package was available when this was made. The guy that I bought it from said that he put the stickers on because they look cool. They don't hurt anything, so I left them. The hard plastic on the dash has a few cracks, but on a vehicle of this age I would say that it is about average. I did the plugs, wires and distributor last summer.New catylitic converters. Nice aftermarket muffler (I think Flowmaster) sounds good but not obnoxious. AC is cold and the heater is hot. Windshield has large crack, but passes inspection. Body has some minor dings, but nothing major and all panels line up. If I did not have a family, this would be my daily driver. I would like to keep the tool box, but if you want it, we could probably work something out.
I might consider a trade for a 3 or 4 door pickup, maybe a suv with preference given to Jeep, Ford, Chevy, and Toyota, or cash. No checks or financing.

I'm asking $5,500, but any reasonable offer will be considered.

1995 Lexus SC400

I have an SC400 in Excellent Condition. Has had only 2 owners. Originally sold at Sewell Lexus on Lemmon to previous first owner. ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS ON THE CAR AT ALL. Everything on this car works.

HAS NEVER BEEN IN A WRECK! Clear Title. Very few dents and stratched on the body, I think there are less than 5 all around. The paint is great as you can see on the pictures. Original Factory Paint.

-Perhaps the best thing in the entire car is the Engine. Absolutely no leaks, no odd sounds, no misfiring, no problems in an way. To say the engine runs great is an understatement. Completely stock. Never been modifided in any way. Has always been serviced at either a Lexus Dealer, or Lexus approved shop. Have paperwork for most of the maintenance. Has had 120K Mile service, on-time oil changes, plugs, belts, other fluids, and other necessary services. Other parts that have been replaced due to wear is the Power Steering Pump and Alternator. The pump began to leak onto the alternator, causing bothing things to go bad. Both parts have been replaced with genuine Lexus parts, not cheaper parts from parts store.
When the engine is on, you cant even hear it or even feel that its on. It is really smooth.
The transmission is very solid. Quick gear changes, No slips. Filter and oil was recently changed.

-Lexus is known for having one of the smoothest suspensions. Lexus owners describe it as riding on a cloud. The performance feels between a sport suspension and a smooth Cadillac waterbed ride. Basically, no suspension problems at all.
-Has New Yokohama tires ($130 each). The tires were replaced on January of this year. The SC400 also has a perfect alignment and balance. I purchased the tires at Discount Tires Co. and got the full warranty and free service package. It is fully transferrable.
-The 2 front Calipers were rebild during the 120K mile service. This car has the most sensitive pedal I have ever had on a car. You just have to barely press it to slow down. And with the new tires, you could truely stop on a dime. The brakes work really well.

-The SC400 has a 4.0 Litre V-8 with rear-wheel drive. You may feel a bit unsure of it being a V8, please try and see past it. It truely has the thrust of a V-8 and the thirst of a V-6. I have a 1999 Ford Explorer 4.0 V-6 and whenever I visit family in Houston, the Explorer comsumes 3/4 of a tank of gas. The SC400, on the other hand, consumes only 1/2 tank. Dallas to Houston is about 250 miles, both vehicles have 20 gallon tanks. Thats about 25 miles to the gallon on the SC400. That is very impressive for a V-8.

-Basically, the Lexus has 2 more pistons and are smaller on the same size engine. The explorer consumes more fuel due to the larger pistons. Plus, having more pistons makes a car run smoother and gets more power. This is my daily commuter. I have never really been bothered by the fuel consumtion. Its a smaller V8.
Plus, its a Toyota Engine. It is posted on Lexus Forums that SC400 was tuned more for better fuel consumption than anything else.

-The only changes I have done to the vehicle are the Rims and 12 Disk CD Changer. The Rims were purchased at Sewell Lexus on Lemmon 2 years ago. They are Genuine Lexus Rims. The factory 12 Disk CD Changer stopped working properlly so I replaced it with a Pioneer 12 Disk. This was not a modification in any way. I simply wanted to have a working CD Player.

Basically, I would like you to understand that this car is Flawless. No mechanical issues at all. Was owned by a responsible owner over the age of 50 and was cared for very much. I am not selling the car for financial issues or anything like that. I simply want to sell it to get a different car for myself. I am selling it in hopes that the next owner will appreciate the car as much as it has been. I am providing 50 pictures taken on Wednesday March 10th this year (few days ago). This is the only modification (if you want to call it that) I have done to the car. I changed the accent light bulbs in the headlight unit for a White Hi-Power Led Bulb instead. Also, I have replaced the Low Beam bulbs with blue colored bulbs to make the color look White for that HID White look. I still have the extra bulbs, just in case. These are simply tasteful modifications to improve the image of the Lexus. Nothing more.
