I inherited this vehicle last year but need a 4-door to haul kids around instead.

It is a 1997 Toyota Tacoma with the upgraded 2.7L 4cyl engine. It's got a manual transmission with about 145 000 miles. It's got a clear TX title and tags until Nov 2012 (we're new to the state so we just transferred everything). Green paint that's in good shape except for one part of the tailgate that was scratched up. The interior is clean and everything works (heater is nice and warm a/c get cold quickly cup holder extends and retracts into dash etc). There is a small chip in the windshield but shows no signs of turning into a full-fledged crack. I just installed a brand new CD player that has USB and Bluetooth connections iPod hookup and full integration with smart phones and iPods. There is also a speaker box behind the seats in addition to the door speakers. The bed has a liner installed. I've got a windowed topper canopy with ladder bars on top and also a diamond plated work box that fit the truck. Both are locking and I have working keys.

Mechanically everything is in great shape except that the front passenger side upper ball joint boot has a tear and needs replacing (see photo). This is about $30 of parts and an hour of labor at a shop. Transmission shifts smoothly and engine has plenty of power for a 4 cylinder. Has a light duty tow hitch for pulling small stuff around town.

It's a fantastic little truck that gets good gas milage I just need the ability to haul carseats not tools.
