The jeep is in good running and driving condition i have put plenty of new parts on the jeep.
The jeep has new u-joints hub bearings all new control arms springs fuel pump and more.
I just put a new full exhaust on it too (header down pipe cat muffler tip) sounds really good
I also put a after market gas tank shield that raises the gas tank almost 2in closer to the body (more ground clearance)

Details:
Now the kbb is rating this jeep at 2400 with current miles and condition. The engine itself runs perfectly fine and strong. Each oil change has been done at a shop or by myself using Castrol GTX high-mileage oil with a Frame oil filter each time. Also using motor flush before each and replacing a quart with Lucas oil stabilizer. I have done my best to take care of the engine and the mechanics of the car the best I can. I have had this car since 150k just about all of the miles on the engine are highway miles. All power works on the truck itself regarding locks windows lights radio and speakers. Its an aftermarket radio so the backside steering wheel buttons don't work with it. The brakes are good on all 4 discs and don't need to be replaced for a little while. Ive had to replace the driver door because the original bottom hinge broke so the key wont open the door but I have to keys with remotes. The driver fender also needs to be fixed I came out of a store one night and it was banged up but I did what I could so open and close the door without it clipping the fender.
Now for the reasons for the price drop on it are listed below. I would fix them myself but am a college student and don't have the funds or the equipment to fix some of them.
These are the only known issues with the car that I am aware of..
-The transmission is original so it has 260k on it and is going out. I was told it needed to be flushed as I haven't done that for 60k so it slips or wont fully go into gear fully.
-The driver side bushings have recently gone out as well so those will need to be replaced.
-The blower motor seems to be stuck as well you can hear the vents open but the motor wont turn on for the heat. This is recent as well about 2k ago.
-The AC compressor needs to be replaced I never used the AC so I had no idea until last summer when I decided to try it and it didn't work. Replaced the freon and noticed the compressor wasn't turning on so I figured its dead.
-The tires are starting to get to the end of their tread and would need to be replaced in another couple thousand miles.
So for the prices Ive found online for the parts are listed here.
AC Compressor - $197
Blower Motor - $65
Transmission - $900
Bushings - $10
Tires (when needed) - $400
So for the parts its $1172 without the tires added.
I can provide pictures if desired via email I haven't had time to take any yet.

1987 Jeep Wrangler. 6 cylinder manual with original owners manual that I have owned for nearly 15 years. I bought it with 98k miles and it has 143k miles now. Recent work done on it: PaceSetter Header TFX Performance cat-back fuel filter & fuel lines on 5/2011 new battery starter and PS & alternator belts on 10/11 front driveshaft u-joints and transmission fluid replaced in 2010 and oil change at 140 392. Other work done: Cap rotors and plugs at 137 024 new heater core at 130 773 Rancho RS5000 shocks and heavy duty springs at 127 000. Front rotors pads stainless steel lines & master cylinder at 124 009. Rear brake shoes hardware and cylinders at 119 000. Centerforce clutch throw out & pilot bearing & resurfaced flywheel at 111k miles. New fuel pump at 109 800. New water pump at 116 158. 18 oil changes in 15 years / 45k miles that I've owned it plus other items such as plugs a few times.
It's been garaged since 2004 and driven about 8 000 miles the last 10 years. I'm selling because I need to make space for another car. The paint is in good condition but there are few rust spots that are visible in the pictures that I can provide - I have over 60 pictures available on Flickr. The top is in fair condition. It has one tear and one of the rear zippers does not work. I just cleaned the idle pick up tubes and put a few new gaskets in the carb which makes it idle good. However it doesn't always kick down to 800 RPMs by itself. The throttle needs to be given a flick with your foot and then it kicks down from about 1 300 RPMs to the 800 RPMs. The clock does not work the alternator gauge works intermittenly (I've checked the alt. output when the guage doesn't work and it's fine) the tach is intermittent the gas tank is empty when the gauge reads half full. Soundbar and front speakers work but need to find the faceplate for the Alpine head unit. It is NOT okay to contact me for third party offers. Please contact me with any questions.

Now the kbb is rating this jeep at 2400 with current miles and condition. The engine itself runs perfectly fine and strong. Each oil change has been done at a shop or by myself using Castrol GTX high-mileage oil with a Frame oil filter each time. Also using motor flush before each and replacing a quart with Lucas oil stabilizer. I have done my best to take care of the engine and the mechanics of the car the best I can. I have had this car since 150k just about all of the miles on the engine are highway miles. All power works on the truck itself regarding locks windows lights radio and speakers. Its an aftermarket radio so the backside steering wheel buttons don't work with it. The brakes are good on all 4 discs and don't need to be replaced for a little while. Ive had to replace the driver door because the original bottom hinge broke so the key wont open the door but I have to keys with remotes. The driver fender also needs to be fixed I came out of a store one night and it was banged up but I did what I could so open and close the door without it clipping the fender.
Now for the reasons for the price drop on it are listed below. I would fix them myself but am a college student and don't have the funds or the equipment to fix some of them.
These are the only known issues with the car that I am aware of..
-The transmission is original so it has 260k on it and is going out. I was told it needed to be flushed as I haven't done that for 60k so it slips or wont fully go into gear fully.
-The driver side bushings have recently gone out as well so those will need to be replaced.
-The blower motor seems to be stuck as well you can hear the vents open but the motor wont turn on for the heat. This is recent as well about 2k ago.
-The AC compressor needs to be replaced I never used the AC so I had no idea until last summer when I decided to try it and it didn't work. Replaced the freon and noticed the compressor wasn't turning on so I figured its dead.
-The tires are starting to get to the end of their tread and would need to be replaced in another couple thousand miles.
So for the prices Ive found online for the parts are listed here.

Bushings - $10
Tires (when needed) - $400
So for the parts its $1172 without the tires added.

1987 Jeep Wrangler. 6 cylinder manual with original owners manual that I have owned for nearly 15 years. I bought it with 98k miles and it has 143k miles now. Recent work done on it: PaceSetter Header TFX Performance cat-back fuel filter & fuel lines on 5/2011 new battery starter and PS & alternator belts on 10/11 front driveshaft u-joints and transmission fluid replaced in 2010 and oil change at 140 392. Other work done: Cap rotors and plugs at 137 024 new heater core at 130 773 Rancho RS5000 shocks and heavy duty springs at 127 000. Front rotors pads stainless steel lines & master cylinder at 124 009. Rear brake shoes hardware and cylinders at 119 000. Centerforce clutch throw out & pilot bearing & resurfaced flywheel at 111k miles. New fuel pump at 109 800. New water pump at 116 158. 18 oil changes in 15 years / 45k miles that I've owned it plus other items such as plugs a few times.
It's been garaged since 2004 and driven about 8 000 miles the last 10 years. I'm selling because I need to make space for another car. The paint is in good condition but there are few rust spots that are visible in the pictures that I can provide - I have over 60 pictures available on Flickr. The top is in fair condition. It has one tear and one of the rear zippers does not work. I just cleaned the idle pick up tubes and put a few new gaskets in the carb which makes it idle good. However it doesn't always kick down to 800 RPMs by itself. The throttle needs to be given a flick with your foot and then it kicks down from about 1 300 RPMs to the 800 RPMs. The clock does not work the alternator gauge works intermittenly (I've checked the alt. output when the guage doesn't work and it's fine) the tach is intermittent the gas tank is empty when the gauge reads half full. Soundbar and front speakers work but need to find the faceplate for the Alpine head unit. It is NOT okay to contact me for third party offers.
