This is hands down the best car we have ever owned. Expecting our first child and would like a wagon or small suv. Otherwise we would not be selling!! The car is white with black leather interior. Nav, sunroof, multidisk cd, ipod connect, heated seats, automatic transmission, and fog lights. This is the last year of the good diesel engines. This is an inline 6cyl and it does NOT require urea injection like the new cars. The car has 104,000 miles on it and the tires were replaced Aug 26 2010. There brand new. The car needs nothing. Some curb rash on the wheels and minor door ding. Otherwise the car feels like new. My wife commuted to Boston Ma from Nashua NH and averaged about 33mpg with traffic. On a recent trip to NJ we were getting 40.5 mpg. The car is amazing!

1983 Mercedes 380SL that is a great daily driver or summer cruiser with 154,xxx miles. Comes with hard and soft tops. The past 2 years the car has been driven a total of about 500 miles over a few summer weekends. Complete interior upholstery including leather seats and carpeting was replaced about 3 years ago at a cost of $2,000. Ragtop was replaced at the same time for a cost of $800. I have receipts for both. I had the brakes done recently. I have a lot of new and used spare replacement parts that will give to the buyer at NO EXTRA COST. These parts include idle control valve, upper-half of engine, flywheel, new lug nuts for wheels, brand new bumper guards, new timing chain tensioner and many others. These spare parts alone are worth well over $800. All new plugs, wires and filters when I got the car 500 miles ago. I just don't have the space or the time to keep the car.
No major problems with the car. A few items I could think of are a couple of slight fading paint areas, a couple of small surface (only) rust spots, fading/sun damaged center wood console. Undercarriage is in great shape. Just typical items for car of this age. Otherwise as I have mentioned VERY strong engine, great smooth daily driver. I have done 80mph on highway with no problem. Very smooth. I will mention it again: Total restoration and available replacement parts alone worth over $3,500. I am only asking $5,200 for the car for a quick no-hassle sale! You can do the math on the overall value. I want someone else to enjoy this car rather than sitting in my garage (it was sitting in the garage for the last year before I registered it 6 weeks ago and took it out about 4 times. This is priced for a quick late-summer sale!!

The car is a 7 passenger, it has a dent in the drivers rear door (the junk yard has a perfect door for $150) The car gets 20+ MPG. it has the straight 6 cyl engine. I have put on new brakes, rear caliper, new dual exaust from the cat. back, it sounds pretty decent. It runs and drives as good as it lookes. It is inspected, loaded and has a moon roof, windws, doors and roof works.Dual air bags in the front. inspected until nex April.2011. It has 140k on it so it's not new but for what I have seen on Craigslist lately this is a bargain.The Benz is Automatic and a gas engine. I would consider a trade for a Diesel engine car.

Chrysler built only 2014 SRT coupes for the world market and only in model year 2005 (of approx.100,000 Crossfires built from 2004-2008). This car has not spent any time on a dealer's lot, therefore it hasn't been abused by aggressive full throttle, high RPM demo rides on a stone cold new engine causing problems later, shortening drivetrain life and violating every manufacturer's break-in directives! Unknown to potential buyers, many SRT 6's on the market have suffered this fate, especially those with low mileage.
This is a unique, "excellent" condition example of a virtually new car with very low miles for someone who knows and values the difference! If you are going to buy an SRT 6, buy the best, not one mechanically compromised before the first buyer ever took possession. These cars are complex and expensive should any of the major drivetrain components fail. Therefore, a long term comprehensive warranty is imperative. Included is a $2000 extended warranty on the entire drivetrain to 80K miles or until 2015, fully transferable.
A word about Kelley Blue Book values: the average mileage for a 2005 is 72,000 miles. The KBB retail value (not private party because this car is almost new and doesn't require the dealer investment in reconditioning that represents the difference in pricing) for an SRT 6 in excellent condition with a premium sound system and the 19" plus wheels this car has is $22,525, and that is without the $2000 warranty, or $24,525. We are the original owners of this ML320. Purchased in Virginia and moved here in 2005. Always garaged, hand washed, waxed and meticulously maintained by dealer or Stuttgart Motors (nearby). We have all maintenance records and this car is currently a daily driver. We intended to keep it forever, but now have three cars and only two drivers (daughter off to military), so it makes no sense to keep it. Everything works and it's in great condition so we are pricing it at the NADA clean trade-in price. Clean retail price is $9750.
The only flaws are some minor paint bubbling on rear hatch (see picture where it's currently primed, awaiting touchup). It was rear-ended in 2005 on the Jersey turnpike. Damage was minor and bumper, etc. was replaced with lifetime warranty. There have been no residual issues from that accident, five years ago. Tires are one year old with only 5000 miles on them. All maintenance, recalls, etc. is up to date and all the "class issues" with this vehicle such as window switch, crank sensor and steering line issues have been replaced with upgraded parts. All maintenance records are available.

This car is a gorgeous 1989 Mercedes 300SE (w126). The exterior and interior are excellent, and the mechanical condition is very good.
This car is NOT a bargain. You can find pretty, shiny cars at any sketchy used car lot. They'll be cheaper than this one. And you'll pay for it later.
This car isn't perfect. But at least I'll tell you what's wrong with it. This car still better than almost any other example of this model you'll find for sale in New England.

The exterior color is called smoke silver (“rauch silber”).
History:
The car spent most of its life in Boca Raton, Florida. The second owner was a Mercedes enthusiast (and my former neighbor) in NH, who bought it in 2005. He kept the car in heated storage during the winter. I bought the car from him in 2008, and have also kept it in heated storage during the winter.
The car has NEVER been on a salted road.
I have all records back to 2005.
Maintenance since 2005 (15k miles since then):
-Oil changes every 3k miles
-Water pump
-Ignition wires
-Spark plugs
-Fuel pump
-Brake calipers, rotors, flex hoses, and pads
-Front ball joints
-Front guide rods
-Caster joints
-Front upper control arms
-Sway bar bushings
-Rear sway bar ends
-Front shocks
-Engine mounts
-Drive shaft flex disc
-Fuel pump
-New tires (only about 6k miles on them)
-Drive belt
-Transmission, coolant, and brake fluid every year before putting into winter storage
-Battery
The car has been thoroughly maintained. You never know with a 20+ year old car, but I'd be surprised if it needs anything in the near future
Exterior:
The paint is original and beautiful. The car has spent its entire life either in garages or under a cover. It looks like a 2-year old car, not a 21-year-old car. There are two small paint chips. You can see them in the pictures (see link above). There are some some barely-noticeable door dings. I won't claim that the car is showroom-new, but it's darn close.
Interior:
The upholstery is perfect except for a small area of wear on the driver's seat bolster. The carpets are clean. The wood trim is perfect except for a barely-visible hairline crack on the shift console. The dashboard and headliner are perfect.
Modifications:
-The previous owner put in an aftermarket stereo with CD player and aux audio input. (You can use the aux audio input for an iPod or similar). The original Becker stereo will be included in the sale.
-The previous owner changed the front turn signals to “clear corners.” I was dubious at first, but I really like the look now. It's very clean.
Problems:
I don't think they're serious, but I don't want to waste anyone's time. And I don't want anyone to waste my time, either. If you come to see this car, there won't be any surprises.
-Slow to start. If the engine is cold, you have to crank the ignition for 2-3 seconds for it to start. If it's been a really long time since I drove it, it can take 10 seconds to start. I took the car to four mechanics, including two Mercedes specialists. No one can figure out why it won't fire up right away. Both fuel pumps seem fine. But since the car always starts eventually, I have given up worrying about it.
-The a/c is weak. A charge will probably help. But for the most part, it doesn't bother me.
-The cruise control doesn't work.
And now the really minor stuff:
-The clock is slow.
-The interior dome light doesn't illuminate when you open the driver's door. It works for all the other doors, though.
-The day/night switch for the rear-view mirror is broken. It can still be tilted manually.
-The very edge of the rear window is slightly delaminated. This probably happened under the Florida sun. It hasn't gotten any worse since I bought the car.
Options:
I think most 300SE models were equipped in almost exactly the same way, so I won't bother listing every feature. Both front seats are power-adjustable with 2 memory positions. The car does NOT have heated seats. It does have a sunroof.
Why I'm selling:
I've really enjoyed this car. It was my first classic car, and I want a bigger, older Mercedes (probably a 450SEL).

Price: $14,000 OBO - KBB predicts that a car in this condition would sell for $15,000 plus - so this is selling at a discount, and also comes with a Lo-Jack which KBB does not take into account.
The car is in good shape mechanically, and since I bought it from Herb Chambers, has always been serviced at Herb Chambers Mercedes. I met all the service points before they were due (have all the documentation), and have treated the car extremely well. The car has never been in an accident (I have the carfax from when I bought it at Herb Chambers and can obviously speak to my ownership), but there are some cosmetic cuts in the front plastics, a dent in the driver's side door, and the rear tires may need to be replaced soon. The front plastics and the driver's side dent are shown in the photos below - as you can see the issues are not causes for concern.
Judging by what prices other craigslist posters are asking, as well as by the KBB value, I think this car is a great deal for whoever gets it next and is offered at a more than fair price. Automatic Brake Drying applies the brakes lightly and briefly based on windshield wiper use and driver braking intervals to reduce moisture on the brake surfaces in wet weather. Multifunction display in the center of the speedometer can be scrolled via steering-wheel controls to operate and display various menus and vehicle features including the resettable trip meter and outside temperature indicator, digital speedometer, Maintenance System, tire pressure and engine oil-level check, radio station, CD player/CD changer, Apple® iPod® playlist/track (with accessory iPod Integration Kit), navigation system route guidance, control settings and vehicle reminder and malfunction messages. Driver-programmable settings for the instruments, lighting, vehicle and convenience features are also displayed, as is the trip computer (elapsed time, fuel consumption, distance to empty) and mobile phone book.
Messages and audible reminders for open door or sunroof; exterior lamp failure; low fuel, engine oil, coolant or washer fluid level; and to release parking brake, switch off headlamps or remove ignition key.
Mercedes-Benz Maintenance System Plus displays the distance remaining to the next basic maintenance service, indicates the type of service due and provides an automatic reminder feature when the service interval draws near. The system also monitors brake-pad wear.Digital display for odometer and Touch Shift gear/mode selection.Electronic analog speedometer, tachometer and quartz clock, all with chrome rings. LOCKING & SECURITY
SmartKey uses an electronic code to unlock the steering column and ignition. Removing SmartKey from the ignition disables the engine computer to help prevent unauthorized starting.Locator lighting uses the car's lights to help light a return path when the car is remote-unlocked in darkness. Unlocking the car activates the illuminated entry system.SmartKey remote control integrates door lock/unlock buttons, trunk opener with valet lockout, removable valet key and panic alarm.
SmartKey remote locking uses redundant infrared and radio-frequency signals for improved range, and rolling-code signal for protection from transmitter cloning. Driver may selectively unlock only the driver's door and fuel filler, or all doors plus the trunk/tailgate and fuel filler.Tele Aid Remote Door Unlock allows owner to have doors automatically unlocked in the event the SmartKey becomes locked inside the vehicle.
