i have a 81 capri, the mercury version of the mustang. its far from stock, more of a street strip racecar. we took the engine and tranny out of a 93 mustang 5.0 and went thru it. 30 over forged pistons, ballanced and blue printed by precision automotive in ontario, comp cams camshaft with matching springs, lock and retainers, alluminum torquer manifold from elderbrock and a elderbrock carb, yea we converted it to carberation instead of the stock fuel injection. electric fuel pump, headers with dumps, 8.8 rear end with a locker, air shocks on the rear, line lock for long smoky burnouts. the motor has about 7k miles on it and the top loader 5 speed tranny has 70 miles on it, we hadn't went thru the old one and the syncros finaly gave out so we bought a brand new one ($2,800). the car is kinda ugly, its orange and black, all faded and the headliner needs replaced but its very fast, it ran 12.97 with street tires, that have no grip, and fun to drive, the power steering was redone, tires are good and would make someone a fun toy or race car for very inexpensive, i have a little over $7k in this car. only asking $3,000 OBO. if it isn't sold soon i will be primering the car in preperation for paint at wich time the price will go up. if you have any questions or would like to come see the car, or i can drive it to you. give me a call at 208-695-9006 thanks. the hood as been modified so it is functional, its like the car in the pic but the hood scoop is black also and the paint is faded.need it gone so all offers will be considered

$2000 OBO. I'm selling my 93 Mercury Grand Marquis it has the small V-8 and gets 22mpg in town and up to 40mpg on the highway depending on your speed. This was my grandparents car and they gave it to me when I went away to college so I'd have a rig to come home with. Its mainy been a highway car driving it back and forth from Pocatello to Boise but since graduation it has been my daily driver. It runs very strong and is a really smooth ride. This has been a very good car its just time for me to upgrade to a small truck. It has a green exterior and a gray interior. It also has a very spacious trunk for pleanty of storage.
