I got this car from my dad in the Boston area about a year ago and the car has treated me very well.
I drop it from Boston to Ft Lauderdale then in Jan 2011 drove it to Austin. I have only spent about $250 to keep it running great this entire time.
I'm looking to buy a car for about $5 000 now that is a little nicer.
couple things "wrong"
some type of smell is coming from the car. My mechanic checked it out. We think it had a very slow oil leak and when it dripped on the engine it would make it smoke. I believe we fixed the leak but still smells a tiny bit when you drive it and it has been starting to smoke a little you notice it smoking at stop lights when the car it idle. When you are driving 10 mph or higher you don't see any smoke.

My wife or I drive this car 2 hours a day to and from work and have for the last year.
I believe it's one of the best cars on Craigslist for the price. I only want to sell it because it's a little ugly for me (especially when i'm picking up my kids from school and I'm idling and it's smoking :) NO FUN.

Very clean and very well maintained the car has about 139 000 original miles; however the engine was recently rebuilt by Austin Subaru and has less than 6 000 miles on it. COBB tuned and super-fast; new clutch and front stabilizer bar installed when engine was rebuilt. Transmission shifts very smoothly and tires and breaks are in great condition. Just got it out of the body shop to repair minor damage on the passenger side after a run in with a barbed wire fence. New paint looks awesome!

Front wheel drive. 5 speed manual transmission. Solid 3 cylinder engine like an old school Smart Car. About 113 000 miles on the car.
New clutch well maintained. Will eventually need to repair the lower bearing on the right wheel as it makes some noise at the moment. Tireman estimated about $180 for the repair but said it wasn't a pressing matter. Otherwise drives like a dream. Some minor dings and cosmetic damage but really it's all about the strong engine. It's a runner.
2 door hatchback. Lots of room for tools hauling things around. Great work vehicle.
Around 35 MPG. Fill your tank for about $20.
Clean title up to date registration and inspection.
IMPORTANT : We are moving beginning of March 2012 so car won't be available till end of February 2012.

I am selling my 2006 Subaru WRX/TR it has been a awesome car it is just the mileage is getting a little high right now at 147700k and the cost of insurance and car payments is too much. The car is standard transmission and has aftermarket brembo drilled rotors and z rated pads thoes are the only aftermarket parts on the car there are some small mechanical problems with the car the power steering pump is whining but only when the car is cold and the right front wheel bearing is making noise I have the part to fix just do not have the time it has a oil leak from above the oil filter that I have not been able to locate. I'm putting my 2002 Silver Subaru Impreza WRX 5-speed AWD up for trade possibly for sale looking for $10 500 OBO.
The car has 167xxx miles But i just rebuild the engine so it only has about 1000 miles.
Transmission Shifts perfectly with no grinds while the engine was out I replaced the
clutch with a new OEM clutch and resurfaced the flywheel.
I average 22-25 mpg in city and 25-30 mpg highway. The drivetrain has no slop due to Subaru Group N motor and Transmission mounts. The Shifts are crisp due to Full cobb shifter bushing package front and rear paired with the cobb double adjustable short throw shifter. This allows you to adjust the height of your shifter and the length of the shift throw.
There is only one problem with the car the inspections out and the car has a check engine
light for a p0508 code which is low input to the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve)
The new one is coming in this week and I will install it and get the Inspection. Does not really affect the car except the idle is about 1500rpm instead of the normal 750-900 rpm idle.

I got this car from my dad in the Boston area about a year ago and the car has treated me very well.
I drop it from Boston to Ft Lauderdale then in Jan 2011 drove it to Austin. I have only spent about $250 to keep it running great this entire time.
I'm looking to buy a car for about $5 000 now that is a little nicer.
couple things "wrong"
some type of smell is coming from the car. My mechanic checked it out. We think it had a very slow oil leak and when it dripped on the engine it would make it smoke. I believe we fixed the leak but still smells a tiny bit when you drive it and it has been starting to smoke a little you notice it smoking at stop lights when the car it idle. When you are driving 10 mph or higher you don't see any smoke.

Very clean and very well maintained the car has about 139 000 original miles; however the engine was recently rebuilt by Austin Subaru and has less than 6 000 miles on it. COBB tuned and super-fast; new clutch and front stabilizer bar installed when engine was rebuilt. Transmission shifts very smoothly and tires and breaks are in great condition. Just got it out of the body shop to repair minor damage on the passenger side after a run in with a barbed wire fence. New paint looks awesome!

Front wheel drive. 5 speed manual transmission. Solid 3 cylinder engine like an old school Smart Car. About 113 000 miles on the car.
New clutch well maintained. Will eventually need to repair the lower bearing on the right wheel as it makes some noise at the moment. Tireman estimated about $180 for the repair but said it wasn't a pressing matter. Otherwise drives like a dream. Some minor dings and cosmetic damage but really it's all about the strong engine. It's a runner.
2 door hatchback. Lots of room for tools hauling things around. Great work vehicle.
Around 35 MPG. Fill your tank for about $20.
Clean title up to date registration and inspection.
IMPORTANT : We are moving beginning of March 2012 so car won't be available till end of February 2012.

The car is standard transmission and has aftermarket brembo drilled rotors and z rated pads thoes are the only aftermarket parts on the car there are some small mechanical problems with the car the power steering pump is whining but only when the car is cold and the right front wheel bearing is making noise I have the part to fix just do not have the time it has a oil leak from above the oil filter that I have not been able to locate. I'm putting my 2002 Silver Subaru Impreza WRX 5-speed AWD up for trade possibly for sale looking for $10 500 OBO.
The car has 167xxx miles But i just rebuild the engine so it only has about 1000 miles.
Transmission Shifts perfectly with no grinds while the engine was out I replaced the
clutch with a new OEM clutch and resurfaced the flywheel.
I average 22-25 mpg in city and 25-30 mpg highway. The drivetrain has no slop due to Subaru Group N motor and Transmission mounts. The Shifts are crisp due to Full cobb shifter bushing package front and rear paired with the cobb double adjustable short throw shifter. This allows you to adjust the height of your shifter and the length of the shift throw.
There is only one problem with the car the inspections out and the car has a check engine
light for a p0508 code which is low input to the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve)
The new one is coming in this week and I will install it and get the Inspection. Does not really affect the car except the idle is about 1500rpm instead of the normal 750-900 rpm idle.

New clutch well maintained. Will eventually need to repair the lower bearing on the right wheel as it makes some noise at the moment. Tireman estimated about $180 for the repair but said it wasn't a pressing matter. Otherwise drives like a dream. Some minor dings and cosmetic damage but really it's all about the strong engine. It's a runner.
2 door hatchback. Lots of room for tools hauling things around. Great work vehicle.

I am selling my 2006 Subaru WRX/TR it has been a awesome car it is just the mileage is getting a little high right now at 147700k and the cost of insurance and car payments is too much. The car is standard transmission and has aftermarket brembo drilled rotors and z rated pads thoes are the only aftermarket parts on the car there are some small mechanical problems with the car the power steering pump is whining but only when the car is cold and the right front wheel bearing is making noise I have the part to fix just do not have the time it has a oil leak from above the oil filter that I have not been able to locate. I'm putting my 2002 Silver Subaru Impreza WRX 5-speed AWD up for trade possibly for sale looking for $10 500 OBO.
The car has 167xxx miles But i just rebuild the engine so it only has about 1000 miles.
Transmission Shifts perfectly with no grinds while the engine was out I replaced the
clutch with a new OEM clutch and resurfaced the flywheel.
I average 22-25 mpg in city and 25-30 mpg highway. The drivetrain has no slop due to Subaru Group N motor and Transmission mounts. The Shifts are crisp due to Full cobb shifter bushing package front and rear paired with the cobb double adjustable short throw shifter. This allows you to adjust the height of your shifter and the length of the shift throw.
There is only one problem with the car the inspections out and the car has a check engine
light for a p0508 code which is low input to the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve)
The new one is coming in this week and I will install it and get the Inspection. Does not really affect the car except the idle is about 1500rpm instead of the normal 750-900 rpm idle.

couple things "wrong"
some type of smell is coming from the car. My mechanic checked it out. We think it had a very slow oil leak and when it dripped on the engine it would make it smoke. I believe we fixed the leak but still smells a tiny bit when you drive it and it has been starting to smoke a little you notice it smoking at stop lights when the car it idle. When you are driving 10 mph or higher you don't see any smoke.

My wife or I drive this car 2 hours a day to and from work and have for the last year.

Very clean and very well maintained the car has about 139 000 original miles; however the engine was recently rebuilt by Austin Subaru and has less than 6 000 miles on it. COBB tuned and super-fast; new clutch and front stabilizer bar installed when engine was rebuilt. Transmission shifts very smoothly and tires and breaks are in great condition. Just got it out of the body shop to repair minor damage on the passenger side after a run in with a barbed wire fence. New paint looks awesome!

The car has 167xxx miles But i just rebuild the engine so it only has about 1000 miles.
Transmission Shifts perfectly with no grinds while the engine was out I replaced the
clutch with a new OEM clutch and resurfaced the flywheel.
I average 22-25 mpg in city and 25-30 mpg highway. The drivetrain has no slop due to Subaru Group N motor and Transmission mounts. The Shifts are crisp due to Full cobb shifter bushing package front and rear paired with the cobb double adjustable short throw shifter. This allows you to adjust the height of your shifter and the length of the shift throw.
There is only one problem with the car the inspections out and the car has a check engine
light for a p0508 code which is low input to the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve)
The new one is coming in this week and I will install it and get the Inspection. Does not really affect the car except the idle is about 1500rpm instead of the normal 750-900 rpm idle.

couple things "wrong"
some type of smell is coming from the car. My mechanic checked it out. We think it had a very slow oil leak and when it dripped on the engine it would make it smoke. I believe we fixed the leak but still smells a tiny bit when you drive it and it has been starting to smoke a little you notice it smoking at stop lights when the car it idle. When you are driving 10 mph or higher you don't see any smoke.

Very clean and very well maintained the car has about 139 000 original miles; however the engine was recently rebuilt by Austin Subaru and has less than 6 000 miles on it. COBB tuned and super-fast; new clutch and front stabilizer bar installed when engine was rebuilt. Transmission shifts very smoothly and tires and breaks are in great condition. Just got it out of the body shop to repair minor damage on the passenger side after a run in with a barbed wire fence. New paint looks awesome!

New clutch well maintained. Will eventually need to repair the lower bearing on the right wheel as it makes some noise at the moment. Tireman estimated about $180 for the repair but said it wasn't a pressing matter. Otherwise drives like a dream. Some minor dings and cosmetic damage but really it's all about the strong engine. It's a runner.
2 door hatchback. Lots of room for tools hauling things around. Great work vehicle.

I am selling my 2006 Subaru WRX/TR it has been a awesome car it is just the mileage is getting a little high right now at 147700k and the cost of insurance and car payments is too much. The car is standard transmission and has aftermarket brembo drilled rotors and z rated pads thoes are the only aftermarket parts on the car there are some small mechanical problems with the car the power steering pump is whining but only when the car is cold and the right front wheel bearing is making noise I have the part to fix just do not have the time it has a oil leak from above the oil filter that I have not been able to locate. I am selling my 2006 Subaru WRX/TR it has been a awesome car it is just the mileage is getting a little high right now at 147700k and the cost of insurance and car payments is too much. The car is standard transmission and has aftermarket brembo drilled rotors and z rated pads thoes are the only aftermarket parts on the car there are some small mechanical problems with the car the power steering pump is whining but only when the car is cold and the right front wheel bearing is making noise I have the part to fix just do not have the time it has a oil leak from above the oil filter that I have not been able to locate. If you are mechanicaly inclined you could fix these problems easily and have a cheap WRX. Feel free to call me and ask any questions 501 580 2205 Kenneth sorry I do not speak Spanish.

I'm putting my 2002 Silver Subaru Impreza WRX 5-speed AWD up for trade possibly for sale looking for $10 500 OBO.
The car has 167xxx miles But i just rebuild the engine so it only has about 1000 miles.
Transmission Shifts perfectly with no grinds while the engine was out I replaced the
clutch with a new OEM clutch and resurfaced the flywheel.
I average 22-25 mpg in city and 25-30 mpg highway. The drivetrain has no slop due to Subaru Group N motor and Transmission mounts. The Shifts are crisp due to Full cobb shifter bushing package front and rear paired with the cobb double adjustable short throw shifter. This allows you to adjust the height of your shifter and the length of the shift throw.
There is only one problem with the car the inspections out and the car has a check engine
light for a p0508 code which is low input to the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve)
The new one is coming in this week and I will install it and get the Inspection. Does not really affect the car except the idle is about 1500rpm instead of the normal 750-900 rpm idle.

I am selling my 2006 Subaru WRX/TR it has been a awesome car it is just the mileage is getting a little high right now at 147700k and the cost of insurance and car payments is too much. The car is standard transmission and has aftermarket brembo drilled rotors and z rated pads thoes are the only aftermarket parts on the car there are some small mechanical problems with the car the power steering pump is whining but only when the car is cold and the right front wheel bearing is making noise I have the part to fix just do not have the time it has a oil leak from above the oil filter that I have not been able to locate. I'm putting my 2002 Silver Subaru Impreza WRX 5-speed AWD up for trade possibly for sale looking for $10 500 OBO.
The car has 167xxx miles But i just rebuild the engine so it only has about 1000 miles.
Transmission Shifts perfectly with no grinds while the engine was out I replaced the
clutch with a new OEM clutch and resurfaced the flywheel.
I average 22-25 mpg in city and 25-30 mpg highway. The drivetrain has no slop due to Subaru Group N motor and Transmission mounts. The Shifts are crisp due to Full cobb shifter bushing package front and rear paired with the cobb double adjustable short throw shifter. This allows you to adjust the height of your shifter and the length of the shift throw.
There is only one problem with the car the inspections out and the car has a check engine
light for a p0508 code which is low input to the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve)
The new one is coming in this week and I will install it and get the Inspection. Does not really affect the car except the idle is about 1500rpm instead of the normal 750-900 rpm idle.

I'm putting my 2002 Silver Subaru Impreza WRX 5-speed AWD up for trade possibly for sale looking for $10 500 OBO.
The car has 167xxx miles But i just rebuild the engine so it only has about 1000 miles.
Transmission Shifts perfectly with no grinds while the engine was out I replaced the
clutch with a new OEM clutch and resurfaced the flywheel.
I average 22-25 mpg in city and 25-30 mpg highway. The drivetrain has no slop due to Subaru Group N motor and Transmission mounts. The Shifts are crisp due to Full cobb shifter bushing package front and rear paired with the cobb double adjustable short throw shifter. This allows you to adjust the height of your shifter and the length of the shift throw.
There is only one problem with the car the inspections out and the car has a check engine
light for a p0508 code which is low input to the IACV (Idle Air Control Valve)
The new one is coming in this week and I will install it and get the Inspection. Does not really affect the car except the idle is about 1500rpm instead of the normal 750-900 rpm idle.

Car has a clean Blue title. I am the 3rd owner. Most of this cars life was highway miles the owner before me put over $5000 in the suspension mods. The car was his work vehicle and he drove 500+ miles a week up and down I35.
