I have for sale a Saturn SC2 that is a great daily driver. It gets 24MPG city and 29-32ishMPG hwy. I got it for a little cheaper and decided to fix it up to make it more reliable. I've put new tires on it less than 6k miles ago a new radiator because it was leaking new spark plugs and regularly changed the oil and checked the radiator fluid. It's got almost 141k miles on it but she has never left me stranded and I'd depend on her to take me long distances.
I'm going to be honest though she does have her quirks. The 1st of the four cylinders leaks a tiny bit of oil so it doesn't start up first time sometimes (BUT ALWAYS STARTS UP 100% OF THE TIME; it's a common problem in these cars for these years and doesn't affect performance or reliability. Not even enough to make it smoke) the fan for the engine doesn't always come on if you're not either running the ac or the heat (which can cause it to overheat design flaw of the car but then again when are you not using either one of those in Georgia?) and the windows get stuck occasionally but that's an easy fix. Probably be a $15 job at a shop.
But with all that said she does have a lot of good things about her.
24MPG city / 29MPG hwy (31-32mpg > what I got today with the cruise on 75)
Brand New battery
Brand New starter
New radiator
New tires
New power steering pump
Just refilled the AC (it's ICE cold also heat is HOT)
(all of those have less than 5k miles)
Drives smooth and easy never shakes at any speed. (to be honest I haven't had her past 85mph)
The body is made of some kind of plastic polymer so it doesn't dent and always looks clean. You could probably hit the sides of it with a bat and they'd just pop right out.
Overall it's just a dependable daily driver that you don't have to be embarrassed of the way it looks.
The reason I'm selling her is honestly because I'm 19 and I want something that looks a little bit cooler and is a little bit faster. Like I said It's not a bad car...it's just not my style. I'd like to get a late 60's to mid 70's muscle car or something of the sort. I'd love to have something awesome like an old mustang with a v8 in it but I'm definitely willing to trade for something with a slant 6 or maybe a smaller car like a maverick or comet or something just as long as it has power steering (I don't care about AC). I'll even look at camaros up to '81 and the old first generation Celicas. Mustangs of any year (v8's only) I don't NEED to sell it I just really want to so the price IS negotiable. Let me know what you have to trade but otherwise its $3000 (negotiable).
NEVER BEEN IN A WRECK. NEVER BROKEN DOWN ON ME.
Plenty more pictures of engine paint etc. if needed. My name is Nathan. I'm a student and in a band so I might not be able to pick up the phone to talk but I can always send/receive texts and I can check the email every so often. The place I stay at a lot doesn't have internet so email isn't as reliable. Phone is 404+seven-one-seven+5342
Pics coming!
