This is most certainly a project jeep and I do not recommend anyone without any experience with working on and driving older jeep models to purchase this vehicle
I originally purchased this jeep thinking it would only take 1.5 years to complete. However I have already surpassed my projected budget and time that I could spend on it. I have not been able to play in it since work on it started. This is due to the fact that as it is now it is unsafe and not recommended to take off roading until the axle
studs are replaced front drive shaft and locking hubs installed carb cleaned and new seat brackets installed. (also tcase needs to be looked at)
Currently the jeep is running and is drive-able. However the idle is inconsistent and low and likes to cut out in third gear. I checked the ignition system and the jeep had been recently tuned. I believe the carb needs to be cleaned which I am planning to do soon and may add on to the total price of the jeep. Also the front drive shaft and locking hubs are available just not installed onto the jeep. I love this jeep and would like to keep it but this is a project jeep and need to sell it in order to obtain a daily driver. It could be a daily driver but there are several things that need to be done first in order to do so. In my opinion it requires either tcase rebuild or new a stabilizer bar and a new steer box in order to make it one. Unfortunately I do not have the funds or the time to do so.
