This car has served it's purpose in my life but just as gotten to that crux in my life where certain things are just that much more important right now. I am in no hurry to sell and will not sell it to some jagbag that's going to ruin it or ruin someone else's life. I have had the car since I was 16 and am now 25. It's been my baby since i purchased it. I had every intention of making this my daily driver and SCCA car but since I have acquired three RT4wd wagons I have lost interest. I'm a photographer and need to always be lugging around tons of gear and equipment. I'd just hate to do that to the CRX. And to be frank it's just not large enough. So as I leave my house it's always one of the wagons...the CRX just sits there with that sad puppy-dog face. I can't stand to see it anymore. Someone please take this car and give it an appropriate home!

As you can tell I have taken my specific parts off and replaced with spares I have laying around. I had PIC coilovers SKUNK2 PRO suspension bits and K-Sport rear camber and toe adjusters. Not to mention MUGEN front brakeset and FULL-Race front traction bar/radiator....Those have all migrated onto my racewagon and are not available for sale. All parts that have been replaced have been replaced with good working order used OEM parts. Again this is a great candidate for a winter project SCCA track car or similar.
Car really needs another spray of NH-538 Frost White for it to be back to mint shape.
I dont care if you dont like my asking price or dont like my car. Or if you dont like me. I know someone will pick it up and give it a good home. I dont have time to listen to anyone whine and complain. If you're not interested or serious please keep your comments to yourself. I will however entertain serious inquiries. I really do want this to go to an appropriate owner. I'm trying to find this car a home where it can be enjoyed and dont need bullshit in my thread.
Ok so the list of mods new parts OEM upgrades and conversions and JDM parts is pretty epic. The car itself was stripped down to just the shell dryiced all the undercoating and sound deadening re-sprayed with sound deadener and painted NH-538 Frost White. All new grommets were used and all new fender liners were purchased from Honda.
Let's start off with the EXTERIOR:
Full JDM SiR EF8 front end conversion:
OEM Honda EF8 front bumper cover
JDM SiR EF8 radiator support & t`bar
JDM SiR EF8 Fenders
SiR carbon fiber VIS Racing hood
*JDM OEM SiR EF8 metal front hood also included frost white as well*
JDM SiR EF8 Plastic Stanley SiR headlights
JDM SiR EF8 Stanley SiR amber corners
JDM SiR EF8 Stanley clear turn signals
EK clear fender markers by DEPO
OEM Honda EF8 mudflaps
Spoon Replica mirrors
Replica EF8 DOHC VTEC side door decals
Whole front radiator support was drilled out and replaced with the SiR one at Quanz Automotive on Eagle Ranch Road. It was welded in professionally and not with washers or however people tend to do it. It looks factory. Have paperwork photos and receipts. Everything was wired up professionally by Quanz as well. Including the power window conversion.
Braking/Suspension/Chassis
*bring your own wheels...may have steelies*
Car does have a great alarm installed. Avital or similar name that was installed by Audio Express. Very very sensitive alarm. Three shock sensors; one in front and one on either side of the vehicle. Two horns one tucked under the radiator support and one in the passenger rear of the bumper cover. Included is two keychain remotes and the box/paperwork.
No rust other than where the paint started chipping (due to covering with a car cover that was NOT UV protectant; it chipped only the top portion as seen in the pictures. Frame was bare and no rust was observed. Sealed with rust inhibitor before primered....)
Tein S-Tech lowering springs and OEM struts (need to be replaced.)
10.3" Integra DA front brakes Rears are stock Si discs with Hawk HPS pads and Brembo slotted/drilled discs (3 000 miles on these) Stainless Russel brake lines (just installed) and OEM Honda rear wheel hubs/bearings 3 000 miles ago.
ARP extended wheel studs in rear. Installed at same time as wheel bearings/hubs. (originally had front but have taken the front MUGEN brake setup and replaced with DA parts. Id replace the wheel bearings if i were you but they roll fine.
40/40 Integra proportioning valve as well as a New OEM 15/16" Civic EX master cylinder and OEM CRX Si booster complete the brake system.
Energy rear trailing arm bushings front sway bar bushings front endlink bushings and rear sway bar bushings. I think the front radius rod bushings were done too. All done 3 000 miles ago.
Honda OEM steering rack bushings endlinks hardware and OEM boots replaced 3 000 miles ago
Blox purple anodized rear lower control arms. Brand new just installed.
BRULLEN 2.25" full stainless cat-back exhaust. In great shape and has a great tone. On new exhaust hangers and tucks up nice and tight. doesnt hang down like a gangsters pants!
All new OEM Honda CRX weatherstripping and window channels replaced when sprayed Frost White. All new door sash's and new window sils on the exterior. All replaced with OEM Honda parts.
Sunroof works perfectly and without any sputter or hesitation. New panel moulding and electric motor were replaced with OEM Honda parts when the car was painted.
eBay or similar rear upper strut bar (does the job!)
Interior
OEM JDM EF8 SiR rear interior. That is: rear seat and corner boxes seatbelts rear carpet rear plastic fender bits rear cargo/parcel shelf as well as EXTREMELY rare JDM Gathers speaker bazooka tubes. The rear seat was just professionally reupholstered last month with a matching vinyl to the OEM black. Looks ace. I used red OEM Honda S2000 grommets to hold the rear carpet to the back of the seats and such. Looks great. Seatbelts in the rear were welded in and done up well but the USDM models had thinner sheet metal compared to it's European and Japanese models. If you plan to have people sit back there (it's a pretty small space; a 5'3" or smaller person could manage I'd address this for safety concerns.
Spoon Sports VTEC controller. Mint shape. Works perfectly. Fits in the OEM spot just below the cluster. Plug and play with OBD0 b16a engines. (Car is wired for 4 wire VTEC already as well....
S2000 Sun Visors custom fitted Acura LEGEND rearview mirror and Black tweed recovered headliner
JDM EF8 AirCon climate control unit. Needs the door to be repaired and the wires depinned and connected properly to work but you can just manually adjust things for now. Im also including a MINT Accord climate control unit that i have a write up for into a CRX and looks even better. I was planning on ditching the aircon and installing the Accord unit but do as you wish.
JDM GATHERS cassette player and AUX cord. Will need a jumper harness from a 96 civic to the OEM CRX plug to operate but does work. Was pulled recently from my wagon. An RSX or S2000 stereo will plug and play with no modification. (I had an S2000 installed to match the clock/aircon/cluster as they glow AMBER)
CUSTOM single din console with CUPHOLDERS!
Red AP1 S2000 front seats. In pretty good shape. Soft and supple with no tears or cracks. A few wear spots but that's it. They were installed with the OEM s2000 rails and fastened to the floorboard with 8mm Allen bolts to discourage theft. So yes they are bolted through the carpet and floorboard. Done right though. They sit super low and are fully functional and no plastics are missing.
Custom red carpet. CTR colour custom batch made fits pretty good but could use a bit of work if want to be perfect new like 10k miles ago but floormats have been in since day one. Also S2000 Pedals and dead pedal!
Custom power window setup with OEM single action switches and OEM cranks/motors. Looks clean and works perfectly.
New seatbelts were just installed last summer at the dealership per Hondas "free seatbelt replacement for life" guarantee. The belts retract perfectly and don't sag.
All black dyed interior. Done professionally at Quanz Automotive with SEM Landau Black using Bulldog adhesive promoter. Dash is crack-free. Door speaker covers had usual cracks and the door panels are not mint but in good shape. Easily fixed. Included rare Honda window crank plugs from a European MKII.5 CRX
JDM ITR gauge cluster. Real deal and wired in correctly. Everything works and everything lights up correctly. Faux carbon fiber bezel and yellow needles. Does read in KPH instead of MPH. Also needs the cluster backing piece off a 94-95 Integra for the electronic VSS to read correctly. I do have this just haven't installed. The Electric VSS is also included and all wiring has already been done. Plug and play!
Custom modified Civic EK armrest with matching leather e-brake handle. Looks much better than the ugly OEM piece ad is also significantly sturdier and much more storage.
Finding all these parts is a chore in itself. Especially here in Albuquerque. I know all of this. EF8 parts are getting increasingly hard to find and even harder in good shape. This is a perfect car to swap a B16a or b18c into and GO. Pulled the swap just last month drove great before. Again it pains me to sell but I know i just wont finish or ever use it again.
Add up all the parts yourself.
Asking $4 000 as is. Not going to part out. CRX's are rare as shit these days. And the Si even more sought after. I know CRX's and the whole EF line. I wont listen to nonsense. She will stay put until someone comes and gets her. Again I'm in no hurry to sell. At all.....
